The Sunderland Echo are reporting that SAFC has held talks with Borini since his return from the US with his shoulder injury, which apparently is the reason for holding things up, great news!

Borini will sign for us soon. However, it will be a loan unless we agree to a short contract. Wont be a three or 4 year deal

2.) We can't stil pay 14 mil for a short term contract so a clause wil be added so we can recoup some cash if he wants away after 1 or 2 yr or as u say it wil b a loan.

id take Borini on loan even if it was for a few months till Jan!! as we need bodies through the door!

I thought I wold look into abcsafc's post regarding Rodríguez signing.
I went onto a Spanish newspaper and found this:

http://www.thelocal. es/20140722/real-madrid-sign-world-cup-star-james-rodriguez

This was the only article I could find with the name Rodríguez. Wrong Rodríguez!
So what reports absafc?
This transfer window is turning into yet another drawn out saga which will result in one or more panic buys like Graham! Hello relegation battle again!
Why is it this happens every year?
