Last Plea
No doubt falling on deaf ears but still think there is a strong case for holding on to Ndaiye as he offers power strength and presence - and I believe could be excellent cover for our defence and midfield which in a small squad like ours could prove to be invaluable - so keep him as a utility squad member ( though I would play him instead of Bridcutt every time).

Has anyone got any info or updates on the Borini deal? Maybe we are waiting for Liverpool to get a replacement first? It's easy to get impatient and think the worse like.

{Ed024's Note - Its taken so long now difficult to tell why. He obviously hasn't said a definite no cos we would have moved on, his injury may have complicated things but I'd guess he may be talking to clubs in Italy.}

Thanks, I was thinking maybe Sinclair could have followed rodwell with having similar problem at man city but he was playing for city today.

Ive posted this on here before but I've heard that borini is wanting a payment off liverpool to move and that is stopping the deal from going ahead. personal terms have been agreed and don't know what the payment is for

I would guess it is compensation as he didn't ask to leave Liverpool. They are choosing to sell him.

I would think all of our idiot 'so called' fans slagging him off and his fiance will be putting him off coming anyway!!

He gave 100% last season, and we have no idea why he has not signed yet. Everything we have read is simply paper and agent talk.

It could be medical with his shoulder delaying the move, it could simply be him not wanting to, it could be financial from our terms or it could be financial from Liverpool or it could be a combination of all of these.

Either way, the idiot fans that think bad language in posts makes them look big and clever and the ones hurling abuse at him and his fiance on twitter and on forums are simply, in my opinion, an absolute disgrace!

Sunderland have apparently enquired about tottenhams Nacer Chadli on season long loan.

new link of the week is with young Manchester City midfielder Bruno Zuculini. The 21-year-old's protracted move to the Premier League champions was only confirmed this week but according to reports in Spain he will join Sunderland after today's Community Shield.

Oh I sincerely hope not. don't get me wrong I have nothing at all against the player but I fail to see how it will improve Sunderland as a club in the long term to take an unproven foreigner on loan till January. Surely the likes of Liam Agnew and Tom Robson deserve a chance rather than assist the development of a rival club's player. If I had a son who had the capability to reach the uppermost levels in the game, I WOULD NEVER allow him to join Sunderland. And that comes from someone who has approaching 50 yearsof punishment supporting the football club.

To be honest I rate Zuculini. he has done well in pre-season and looks a decent player. but I agree with robbiegee in that he hasn't shown that he can bring any more to the club than Liam Agnew or George Honeyman. in my opinion Gus give them a chance.
