It`s been a busy day with a lot of phone calls. A lot of rumours that we`re after Juventus` Quagliarella and Matri are apparently false.
My sources tell me that true interest is shown in getting Jonathan Woodgate on a season-long loan deal. Talks are also being held to get Charlie Adam in. The last one is more or less a subject of wages.

On the sky sports fantasy football team I have a lot. Giaccherini, roberge, karlsson and O'Shea. I feel our team will do very well this year.

I've gone for giaccherini, cabral and altidore, I haven't chose sess coz he may go and aj is hit and miss

PDC wants Andros Townsend as his midfield playmaker after he impressed playing for QPR last season. He fits into the mould that we are after.

He wants a central player not a winger

The Tottenham players don't like playing with him as he's too greedy with the ball and he tries to do more than he can/should. Sounds like McClean, no thanks.

Looks like we aren't pursuing Peruzzi anymore due to a failed Medical. Instead we're after Trabzonspor right-back Ondrej Celustka.

He has just announced he has agreed to sign for us!

So are we not getting peruzzi now then ed? I thought the velez director said we were meeting with him a couple of days ago to see if he had improved his fitness. Be gutted if we don't get him now

Apparently the Czech guy has passed a medical and agreed terms. Fingers crossed we might actually have signed a right back :)
