I am watching the LEIGHTON BAINES situation at Everton with interest. Now before anyone accuses me of being totally delusional I am not for one moment expecting him to sign for Sunderland any time soon however if he moves to Manchester United then Everton will be looking at the same left-backs as we are. The sooner we get Rose or Cissokho or whoever "over the line " to coin a NUFC paraphrase the better as far as I am concerned.

Wouldn't say top 10 is "on the cards", we are far from the only team to have strengthened over the summer, mid table - safety should be our goal. Something we can build upon.

He is one of the worst finishers on the ball I have ever seen, he needs about 30 chances to get 1 on target and under the bar. He has two spades for feet, no wonder Spurs want rid.

Great to see PDC really means to try and turn this great club around. We have waited years for someone like Paolo to drive this club on and I am sure every Cats fan is excited about the coming season.
