I too would love to see the outcome of this saga. For me personally I think the problem is with Borini he just does'nt want to come. If what we read is true he gets on well with Poyet I for one don't believe this and for this chap (Borini) to say he loves the club and supporters. Come on let's get real.

Apparently Poyet has arranged a meeting next week with Short and the board to discuss transfers. Roumors are he is angry that the players he wanted that we have been in contact with have ended up not signing for the club IE vergini Williams Borini Rodregez and Alonso. No one knows why outside the select few but if he has asked for a meeting it must be desperate times and be a case of Poyet saying I want x y and Z players in or I'm walking. You can tell by his interviews he knew who he wanted and SAFC for some reason can't or won't deliver.

You can see his point, if by the end of the '4 players in 7 days' period we have not landed at least 2, he will be angry, concerned and keen to point out to the Board that we are rapidly approaching the new season and a repeat of last years start (a start so abysmal we were lucky to recover). If Gus tells the Board what he needs and when it is their job to deliver (having agreed); they will not be shy in chastising him, if we are struggling 2 months in.

This is interesting. For me Poyet can walk. Cast your mind back to the end of last season. We did the business against WBA which assured are position in the PL, we performed (did'nt) poorly against Swansea and the rumours started, he's going to West Ham, he's going to sign. No he isn't he's off to the World Cup as a pundit for ITV, oh hang on he has signed a contract.!!. As with the Borini saga Mr Poyet does'nt want to be here. Just to reiterate, for me, he can walk and the quicker the better.

Agree with you safclegends love to be a fly on that wall of the meeting 1. still think something isn't right at this club and the responsibility of all this lies with the chairman and I reiterate IS Ellis Short interestd in the football side of the club or is he another Mike Ashley?. please come back Nial Quinn to add stability to this club!
