forget the Boribi transfer Gus let's concentrate on Alonso and other targets . why on earth we are hesitating with Alonso . just pay the money Sunderland!. if we can afford £14 million for Borini we can spend a couple or so million on Alonso get it done Gus!

Apparently we've offered Florentina £2.5 million + Diakate!. why can't we just buy Alonso then sell Diakate afterwards . as usual we do things backwards at this club!

Come on bobstokoe1973 we are not talking rocket science here. If we did it your way we would be lumbered with a player we don't really want along with the burden of his salary. Who is to say we would be able to move him on?

If there's any doubt, check out the LFC website. He (Borini) is shown as one of their squad on the official website. Methinks Mr Rodgers speaks with forked tongue.
What worries me is I don't think we are being treated with respect.

I think we should tell mr borini where to go. I was happy to hear we'd bid and had it accepted, I do feel he would improve us but if he has to think about it ie hope for someone else to come in for him then drop him straight away bring in someone who wants to play for the club. deluded little Italian. he was nothing at Chelsea or Liverpool and he thinks he's too good for us. think not fabio

He wants to prove he isn't a flop at Liverpool, good on him, and even though Liverpool is buying more forwards he still wants to prove his point and not throw in the towel
AND/OR, your going off the, he's turned us down rumour, how so we know, Poyet said he is going to make negotiations with him and other rumours themselves are saying that he forced the move
If he joins get in!
If he doesn't, good look to the lad because he deserves his chance to show how good he is for a top, top team

Gus Poyet is now stating that they have agreed terms with the club and are waiting for personal terms to be agreed, also just seen Fabio is on the plane to Boston? And heard rumours that his agent has claimed that Fabio is stalling to think about the move more with his family.
Im 50/50 on the £14 million, although he is still young, our strikers are looking good so far with Wickham impressing, Fletch scoring and hopefully Fabio coming. And Altidore is talented, only confidence is needed. He played great for the USA

lots of sites saying he has signed, Gus on ssn saying its done deal and then there's a photograph of him (supposedly ) boarding a flight to the states with the rest of the Liverpool team the picture of him boarding the plane is from the rear and could be my next door neighbour for all I know.
if and remember its all rumor and speculation, he has gone to the states with Liverpool then that is a clear sign he dosnt want to come with us.

Anyway away from the borini thing. not a bad run out yesterday, good to see fletch back in the goals and some of the fringe players like cabral getting a game. How about Whatmore at right back. what's the word on Clayton have we signed him. All in all not a bad run out for the lads

We've no hope of getting Milner, there's about 10 teams in a better position to take him if he was too leave city. Same as Rodwell. I think although we've been in premier league for a number of seasons other teams have come up and overtook us in attracting a better calibre of player. hull, Swansea, Southampton and palace for instance. I don't know why this is the case it just is. We were in for Huddlestone and he chose hull just as an example. We love our club we just don't seem to be attractive to the middle pool of players leaving us with poor foreigners and loanees who use us to improve their own status. Evans, Wellbeck, Rose Borini. and who would never sign a permenant deal. just my opinion

Heard poyet and Borini have talked on the phone and Sunderland have withdrawn their offer for him. Agent saying he wants to return to Italy if it's true I wouldn't try and talk him round we need players that want to be here not use us as a stepping stone at such a high price tag.

if borini is not happy to come to Sunderland please let's go for someone else please don't try to talk him into it he's not happy and to be honest good work rate but he didn't set us on fire
