I think Albrighton from Villa would be a good signing along with Ridgewell from WBA, I think we will cash in on Fletcher, Altidore will stay and hopefully suprise us all next season, would like Sococco to do the same and hopefully we will get Borini, can Whickam continue his performances he had in the last 5 games. I hope so. but all our strikers need to up their game, especially if Borini stays at Liverpool.

So we continue to be a kindergarden club for other premier ship clubs!. With Welbeck Rose and now Borini being loaned to us by clubs who didn't fancy them in their team for development and then sent back to them to keep!. whos next to come on loan on a temporary basis?

Ive feeling that Altidore will do well in the World Cup and have agood season!. Look at Bony Who scored a lot of goals in the Dutch leaugue aswell so to me its just a confidence thing!. also think Scocco will do well as in his debut for Argentina he scored two goals against Brasil so he must have something!

To be fair, we are a smaller team, and those players who came here on loan are not players we could have attracted full time anyway, Welbeck, Rose, Borini, all have come good here & that's helped us so much.

Granted I'd have prefered full signings, though if you look back over the last few seasons the amount we've wasted on players who just aren't cut out for either this level or our playing style is insane.

I'll never understand how the teams around us can seem to manage to buy players that are good enough and not break the bank yet we go all out & end up with a bucket of hammers.

COME ON smaller team!. I would say the word is lack of ambition!. you right in a way its about MONEY! and we can't compete with the wages thing and of course there's the champions league obstacle. What we need to do on loan players is put an option to buy then its up to the player and quite a few loans do turn into a permenant transfers which will suit both player and club!

Well we are, amazingly supported, though what are our achievements lately? almost relegated the last few seasons, go through managers like crazy, we've spent so much on players and got very little to show for it.

Performance wise we are a smaller team, our heart and support? first class, that however is not what draws the big players, we're not in europe in any way, not challenging for the league.

I'm not insulting us, we're a great team, we're just not "big" in the way that attracts the top players. Yes money is part of that, it's the competitions as well, we can't offer them that either.

I'd love us to be up challenging for europe, and do hope we get there, just stability right now is what we direly need, and a season or two of not being in relegation till the end would be a great boost to that.

Bridcut / cattermole / Ndaye - do we need all three and if not who should stay?
For me I can't understand why we let Ndaye out on loan - especially after Christmas last year - he is an imposing, strong midfielder in his prime, who can hold his own against anyone. One of my issues with last season was how at times we were bullied on the field by our opponents - an absolute must for me.
I posted at the beginning of last season how I believed cattermole was a liability - how wrong I was! - my reasons for this was based on 2 issues - discipline and lack of goal scoring prowess - and in a team like sunderland we need people to have both attributes - but I now believe we are a far better team when cats is anchoring our midfield.
And here is my issue - I do not doubt the footballing brain of Bridcutt - but I do question his physical size and capability to play as a holding midfielder in the premier league. And if you consider our points tally in games where Bridcutt started and compare it to games he didn't - then you can see our escape this season wasn't indeed a miracle - just a vital piece of team selection.
Bridcutt didn't play in our cup runs - nor was he part of our vital run of form at the end of the season - only returning for our defeat against Swansea.
But I don't believe Bridcutt is a poor footballer - I just believe the changes we make to accommodate him in our side disrupts the rest of the team.
So for me it's two out of three - Ndaye and Catts must stay and Bridcutt should go - though I fear the complete opposite!

I don't think Poyet fancies Nadye which is a pity as I think he would have done well for us last season!. Bridcutt? not sure about him next season is make or break for him but in last game I was very dissapointed Poyet didn't play Giaccherini. We need a creative midfield player that can unlock defences!
