Believable3 Unbelievable9

{Ed024's Note - Another winger ?}

Might put Giaccherini in middle

Agree1 Disagree9

Straight swap for Sessegnon

Agree4 Disagree6

FOR THE LAST TIME IF SESS WAS GOING HE WOULD BE GONE BY NOW

Agree4 Disagree5

Wrong again no body knows what's going on in he's head m8 you, telling me he's trying lol only time will tell

Agree3 Disagree1

Sess will be away, it the only way we can strengthen the midfield. I understand a deal is ongoing for him to leave. Source, worker at club.

Agree3 Disagree1

Does anyone want sess to stay? on form has 3 good games in season hope he goes WE NEED 2 midfield players ENGLISH only 1 out there
Gareth Barry the other 1 take on loan from some where

The Lads are looking at 26 yr old Zenit St Petersburg left back Domenico "Mimmo" Criscito.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Would is about 14 million so don't think we will get him

7SAFC7

Agree2 Disagree3

And why can't we pay 14m if he was good enough?

Agree0 Disagree5

Only just back from a cruciate ligament rupture and valued at around £14M so not for me, even though an excellent player!

Decent point today, we're a work in progress, In Ellis and PDC we trust. Ed, is there any whispers to suggest that we're ready to pay big money to get Bradley? I guess the advantage is that we already know he links up well with Jozy. Sounds as if Ki is the one we're really after though (?). Cheers Ed.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

{Ed024's Note - I'd prefer Bradley over Ki - but Ki is more likely.}

I would prefer Bradley too but it seems as if we'll have to pay thru the nose. Plus, it seems as if Roma have done a fair bit of selling and reshuffling recently, with the start of the Italian season imminent. Cheers Ed.

Agree4 Disagree0

Why not both? More the merrier I say

Agree4 Disagree0

The money Roma want for Bradley ide rather we bid that for Duncan, we should have went in for Junior Malander from Zulte Waregem, only 18 played for Belgum at all youth levels can pass and is built like a heavy weight boxer but Wolfsberg have nipped in and got him.

Agree1 Disagree0

Duncan has already been sent out on loan so no chance of getting him.

Agree3 Disagree0

Roma bought Bradley for £2 million so to ask for near £9 million is ridiculous!

Agree0 Disagree1

We bought migs for 2 million and sold hii for 9 million haha

Agree2 Disagree0

Thats called business lol. We should aim to sell our players for more than we paid also.

Poor defending for the goal again. Not blaming gardner, but he was outjumped for every ball throughout the game.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Haway then, let's start all the moaning again like last week on the back of another decent performance and a good scoreline. We can complain all we like with pundits misguided opinions but I find it more annoying listening to some of you lot. Proud once more of the lads and the passion shown by di canio.

Agree7 Disagree3

Why drop Cabral one of our best players strange decision! this chopping and changing will cost us points! this season is going to be stressful!

Agree7 Disagree1

Sess was crap again hence pdc took him off half time, jozy looked isolated but good, ji looks too fragile for the prem, gardner - Frankie and Larson played there standard championship level, AJ needs to get on the ball and run at teams instead of passing back, good defencive game from the 4 lads at the back especially celustrka and Diakité

Agree3 Disagree2

I agree with the second post, you lads are a joke. Some things don't change, can't even give the team a chance 2 games in. I still remain 100% confident in di canio regardless of if I agree with his starting 11. Its going to take time for him to be completely satisfied with his starting line up.

1-1. Good result but work to be done

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Disappointing to concede so late but I would have taken 1-1 before the game. Conceded from 2 headers already - something certainly to work on. I didn't get to the game but from what I'm hearing another decent performance.}

Yes but we should be beating teams like Fulham and Southampton we will struggle this season!

Agree4 Disagree8

Southampton are a really good side who are mainly gelled. you obviously know nowt saying a def win you tatie. good point today and judge things on next week

Agree11 Disagree0

Good result would have taken it beforehand, the league is stronger than ever and we have no god given right to beat any team, it will be a tough season, but it will for all teams. like our attitude now, need a couple more players but even then mid table will be a good season this year, and then try and build on that again, let's stop expecting just to turn up and win and get behind the lads and a committed management team. Ha way the lads.

Agree2 Disagree0

We were all disappointed last week when we were mugged by Fulham, and this week we have mugged Southampton, that's how tough the season is going to be, so stop being negative and appreciate the improvements that are being made by the club, get behind the lads,

Agree5 Disagree0

Why should you? i'm a saints fan but to me the teams seem very equal and both teams Will probally finish very close to eachother like last year.

Agree1 Disagree0

Well if getting a point at Southampton is progress then I think some fans have a lower success threshold than me! please remember who our next 6 games are against. i'm being realistic!

Agree1 Disagree4

2 games 2 good performances against underrated teams. stop with all the crap about us struggling this season

your either daft or geordie (not much difference) to reckon that we will strugle for 38 games based on 2

Agree3 Disagree1

No your being stupid try to show a little support

some fan you are

Can't believe how biased the pundits are in this country, watching football focus and lawro has just said "i think sunderland might be relegated and the manager won't be there at Christmas" and he was quoted saying "i can't decide whether he is a genius or a complete person" when talking about PDC. What a complete c**t he is. Safc93

Believable8 Unbelievable0

{Ed024's Note - He's trying to raise his profile - he's seen as the 'boring pundit' and he's trying to change that with some controversial views.}

Hope he gets sacked
He criticised PDC, but you can't take him seriously when he looks like a fu*in poodle

Agree7 Disagree0

{Ed024's Note - You cant be sacked for having an opinion - he just loses credibility when his views have no substance. If Sunderland lose today he'll be shouting he was right all the time, if Sunderland win we'll not hear a word from him.}

Wasn't he replaced from MOTD because he was too boring?

Agree4 Disagree0

They didn't replace him with alan "mr personality" shearer did they?
The lads were unlucky I thought but plenty of work to be done yet.
Liono74

Agree1 Disagree0

If we had won 6-0 he would have said we were lucky. prat!

God, some critics are just ridiculous

They say that we will have a disastrous season purely because PDC is in charge, but I have so much respect for PDC, he has dealt with the "crows" brilliantly and has transformed our club, just because we lost in our fist game people say we will get relegated

Michael Bradley €7m bid in. Looks a bit of a holding CM but doesn't waste the ball.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

What he does well is he breaks the play up very well in his own half and is not afraid to go into a tackle, touch out his feet and lays the ball on with a short pass, none of this hoofing it up the feild, or if he is further up the feild he will make great accurate passes for the wingers to run onto or straight into the big forwards feet (Altidore/Osvaldo) to hold up the ball and lay it off

Would be a very good partnership with him and Altidore, he'll get Altidore over 10 goals this season if we get him

Agree5 Disagree2

Bradley would be gud signing, need abit more in centre midfield. I think Cattermole still role 2 play, he add a lot bite, with pdc fitness levels, he be like new signing. topcat
