Hearing from a work colleague who lives in Spain that Ally Cissoko deal is at a very advanced stage. Liverpool withdrew after the player wanted guarantees of first team football.
The problem is he wanted to go to liverpool and does not want to come to sunderland
I read somewhere that it was his high wage demands that scuppered his move to Liverpool. Only want players here who want to play for us, so better if we don't get him.

Never heard it was a bad injury, he only missed 3 games, and played in the remaining fixtures, including their cup final, apparently doing rehab at the request of safc. , with a few to a further medical, in a few weeks time

Hey ed, I've just read that sessegnon wants to stay at sunderland at that they are after a Swiss youngster to fill in the left back position and he is called "loris benito"
After looking like he was certain to go this is a boost - the fact that Graham went on loan and PDC stated he wasnt looking for another forward was a big hint Sess was staying - but good to hear it from Sess.}

They have not drop the interest. Simply left what they think is a realistic offer for a player in the last year of his contract on the table. Lyon want more and are gambling that someone other than Newcastle come in for him.

Papers reporting we are after Cissoko on a perm deal with Liverpool pulling out I can see this happening now. Also after Anderson of man utd on loan with option to buy. Anderson is hit and miss for me but definitely better as a holding midfielder than anyone we have at the moment to partner Cabral.

How old is Anderson? Also how many games he play last season I almost forgot he played for man utd he plays that little.
Good news about Sess and Cissoko may be a good buy. Didn't Liverpool want him on loan but his club will only sell?
Is it only me that thinks Westwood will go, he doesn't look like being first choice which I think is unfair. Is he really worse than a third choice ex gunner.

I personally see no positive in this Anderson Rumour, he's a good player at times but what do we actually know about him other than he's similar to Catts in terms of anger issues. quite frequently gets booked when he comes on doesn't he? good to hear about sess, I think with the new italian bloke, sess, johnson and either altidore and fletcher or both. we have a nice attacking squad!
I reckon westwood will be first choice, pdc only gave mannone game time to check him out, he knows more about westwood and I thought he was solid on saturday, his kicking with both feet was spot on. tk73
