Sunderland will bolster there attacking options this week with a move for Boltons David ngog and a loan move for manchester Citys sweden international John Guidetti.
Martin O'Neill will also run the rule over City Midfielder Mohammed Abou after the midfielder returned to city from a loan with Stromsgodset in norway.
