He has just came back from international duty and has had an extra 2 weeks off meaning he is short of fitness.
Mon has already said why they are not going they need a visa to get into sweden and dosnt see the point wasting aday filling in paperwork.
Don't want to waste a day in London getting a visa. And Sessegnon is staying now Sunderland have but a £20m price tag on his head. And Elmohamady is lined up for a move.
Sess has a slight thigh injury that's why he hasn't travelled and Elmohamadey and Meyler are soon to hold talks with hull city

Sunderland will bolster there attacking options this week with a move for Boltons David ngog and a loan move for manchester Citys sweden international John Guidetti.
Martin O'Neill will also run the rule over City Midfielder Mohammed Abou after the midfielder returned to city from a loan with Stromsgodset in norway.
I see stuff like this David ngog rumour lmao and I think to myself some of the PLp who post on here are not playin with a full deck of cards
Ngog didn't want to come to Sunderland last season as part of the deal that saw Henderson go to Liverpool so can't see him wanting to come now.
