Sunderland have had offers for Buckley and Bridcott turn down by Brighton & Hove Albion.

And Souttar from Dundee United has turned down a £700,000 move to Sunderland.

And it is believed Sunderland are looking at making a offer for Lee Chung-Yong of Bolton Wanderers.

Sunderland are also looking at signing Callum McManaman and Scott Carson from Wigan Athletic.

Do you not get the feeling he is building a team for next season in the championship? Personally I think it could be a good thing, get rid of all the deadwood, (oshea, gardner, larsson, johnson, cuellar etc) and start bringing the young talent through, they would thrive in the championship.

We should be trying to sign KI in the Janurary window not send him back. how many times have we had loan players that thrive at our club and go back better players! Make Swansea an offer they can't refuse!
