Personally I think Kevin ball has done a good job and should get the job british, actually wants the club to do well, plays good football and we should have beaten liverpool but for the lack of good finishing

Ru on drugs? Kevin ball s'land legend but has for our nxt manager no way, they the fans will b calling for his head b4 xmas, fair does there was more passion v lpool but he picked the wrong team, apart from cattermole bringing back cuellar and gardner at right back shows he's not right for the job. we need a manager with a bit more tactical knowhow and not frightened to drop players when they don't pull there weight.

Agree14 Disagree1

Bally safc thru and thru but he ain't the right man for the job, picking players like cuellar and larsson is ok against peterborough but not in the prem league, need someone in and fast before its too late!

Agree9 Disagree0

As much as I like KB he shouldn't be the next coach line up on Sunday was back to the bruce/oneil era and these players are the reason why we are where we are and will continue to be playing these players.

Agree9 Disagree0

Which manager does not want his club to do well?

It does not matter who you bring in, you are facing relegation down the barrel.

What you need to think about is bringing in a manager that can work with you in the championship next season.

Agree0 Disagree13

How did newcastle get on last night? are you still top of the league. lol no that's just in your deluded little brains.

Your in the 5h1t as much as us but at least we are not stuck with pardew.

Agree6 Disagree0

Maybe the mags have finally realised their defence is awful. They were saying their squad was as good as evertons!

The main problem in our team is we've no firepower up front without Fletcher!. this is something PDC didn't address. every good team has good strikers and we don't!

Agree1 Disagree2

Becaause johnno plays on right and giaccherini on left we have nobody putting crosses in for altidore and ball just went back to picking team that nearly took us down. Need to sort it quick

the main problem is the overpaid underachievers that have been here since bruce then oneill added to now bally thinks can get us out of this mess.
BRING BACK DI CANIO.

Did I just spot the number ''5'' and ''1'' - looks familiar.

Agree2 Disagree2

Makes me laugh when you geordies and your ass licker joey Barton still mention the 5-1, makes me cringe. Were not insulted by it its funny. It makes you look small time. We have won 3-0 since then. Its like us still mentioning when we beat you 9-1 yes 9-1 now that's funny. Bigger club my ass.

So why tell Ball he's in charge on Saturday?

Agree4 Disagree1

Ball in charge to save the new manager from possible embarrassment against MU and to give him a chance to look over the team?
Bally is my hero, but I am not sure he could do the job. I agree with the previous poster that the team he picked against Liverpool was wrong. It seemed to be appeasing the team that did nothing for Mon and rebelled against PDC.
I would like to see them leave asap.
The players that were brought in are proving head and shoulders above old guard.

Agree11 Disagree0

I have watched the Mags closely, they are poor when you get in their faces they go missing, their players are gutless. They are easily pulled out of shape, Play like we did against Liverpool and we should smash them with ease again.

Agree3 Disagree0

And i'm sure pardew will have watched sunderland mate with colback at left back he will throw ben arfa at him and with oshea and cuellar having no pace at the back remy will burn them off for pace I think overall we have more weak links than Newcastle so i'm not looking forward to derby day umless we get a decent manager in

Agree0 Disagree0

Said the same last time we met who won 3-0 sunderland will be boosted by a new manager for the derby.

For me there is only 1 man can turn the club around and that's neil lennon, the players obviously want a british man in charge and short is looking for a headcoach rather than manager. He has the passion of di canio but he also gets the best out of his players and earns their respect. he's on a rolling contract at celtic so wouldn't cost much to get him, trouble would be tempting him away!

Believable3 Unbelievable10

Our lass could manage in that league man, Celtic apart on par with the conference league. Lennon could not manage in the prem.

Agree7 Disagree2

He could manage well down in England and one day he will however there is no way he will give up a Champions League side at this stage.

Agree2 Disagree0

Aye what about managing in the champs league, beating barcelona and qualifying for the last 16 eh! He motivates his players and gets the best out of them. You obviously know nout about your football.

Agree1 Disagree7

I would give lennon a chance as I like the way he tries to get celtic to play football but be realistic would you swap celtic for a poor side in the premiership who look nailed on to get relegated we will end up with kevin ball as manager on the reason that what ellis short saw yesterday made him realise whoever he gets in can't save the club

Agree1 Disagree4

Lennon couldn't manage in the prem? what's that person on about, lennon is 1 of the best young british managers about and he will end up managing a top club in england.

Agree0 Disagree4

Doesn't matter who we get. It's blatently obvious the current crop of players aren't good enough. it was obvious last season when we nearly got relegated. The ones brought in bar one or two are not much better.
