Sunderland are looking at making an approach for Cameron Jerome from Norwich, they had looked at signing Dwight Gayle initially but have now moved on to Jerome to lead the line next season.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! how on earth does Fer play most of last season for QPR and fail a medical here? that's 2 failed medicals in 2 months? what's going on here!

Bobstokoe1973. I may be completely wrong but didn't fer actually seriously injure himself playing against us at sol last season. I am sure it was him? sure he didn't play much after that. Again though I may be totally wrong. He has also failed a medical in the past at everton.

He's got an injury and isn't able to pass the medical and be fit to play "now", it's going to be weeks before he's even remotely over it & then comes getting fit then getting match fit THEN meshing with the team, we can't afford to wait that long. As for lombaerts he never had a medical, he just decided not to join us.
