I'm really frustrated about this talk about PDC being a huge mistake and him being written off.
The club needed to go through the PDC period - its been painful, but it was necessary.
The team last season would have been relegated if not for PDC - his drive passion saved us, but only just. While Villa and Norwich played their way clear of the drop, we got out of jail with Wigan losing to Swansea in the penultimate game - if we had gone down no one could have complained, the Newcastle and Everton game turned our season around.
Look at the team now - would you rather have Diakite or Kilgallon/Bramble, Giacherini or Maclean, Altidore or Graham?
We have some really tough fixtures coming up and we need to start picking up points - but please, please don't think we would have been in a better position if Short had allowed MON to continue because we would have been tuning into BBC 1 at midnight on a Saturday rather than 10. 30pm.
Its early enough in the season for the new manager to turn it round - personally I'd take Pullis - his experience would see us safe. Poyet hasn't managed in the EPL - I pray Short knows what he's doing.

Dicanio was useless inept potty gobbed abusive and a waste of 13 games he should never be given another job unless its licking urinals clean, how anyone can defend him beggars belief

2.) 26 Sep 2013
As far as I'm aware Gus poyet isn't a bad coach pulled the strings at Leeds wise just took the plaudits when he left Leeds went downhill, he did well at Brighton playing decent football just missed out in the playoffs, hopefully we make the right choice. don't fancy pullis, would steady the ship but crap football I no it's not all about sexy football but we are trying to go forward not back even sometimes it feels like it.

Gus played decent football at Brighton? He played great football at Brighton, He's regarded as the best in Brightons history and playing the best football they have ever seen. He turned them from stoke to Swansea overnight almost. They played possession football made the opposition tired then went in for the kill. Great defence record too.

He's perfect.

2nd post obviously not a sunderland supporter mate like to hear your reply as I have a question to ask you

5.) 26 Sep 2013
Decemy, great same thing I was just stating he's a good coach he's going knows his stuff and that's what we need to move forward not pullis, pdc was a good coach it was just his man management which let him down.

How can you tick unbelievable when I've told you what I am if you are calling me a liar then say so
im no liar and I stand by my statement in the 2nd post

2nd post is a lifelong supporter from late 60s onwards

so do you agree with some of the players who I know were out drinking Saturday night after the wba game. also knowing that they had to report for training the next day or were they just out instigating and planning the down fall of pdc. also the pdc was that bad of a character did you not celebrate along with all sunderland fans and pdc during the o-3 win at sid james park. I can guarantee to you that whoever gets the job is on a hiding to nothing if things don't go right pick the wrong side and players will turn against them lose a few and if we are not out of the bottom 3 by xmas the fans will be wanting him out. how any one would want the job with the crap we have at the club amazes me obviously he won't get the backing of byrne or short.

9.) 26 Sep 2013
A totally agree with the players his demands and verbal abuse would not of been tolerated in any other industry. his tactics were rigid and uneffective his substitutions were like for like and never changed anything he cost us the win at southampton
oneils team beat the mags
he was tearing the accademy apart with his personic isolation rules I bet there's not one single person at the club whos sad to see him go
he will never make a manager until he becomes a man himself mate
end of debate because we will fill the page if we go on

10.) 26 Sep 2013
All these fans slating Di Canio. by saying well I wouldn't work hard for someone who treat me like Di Canio did?
Quick question. If your defending these players in the Di Canio scenario -what would be the defence under Bruce and MON?. same players under performing - been dis=respectful to us fans. REMEMBER they get paid dam good money to do a job. about time players were sacked for not performing - SIMPLE.

11.) 26 Sep 2013
The second post says di canio was a waste for 13 games. nah, 11 maybe

12.) 27 Sep 2013
Well put true mackem the same fans who are slating pdc are the same ones who slated mon and bruce and will slate the next manager when things go wrong I just wish the board had the balls to tel the players they are the ones paying the wages and pdc is their manager but alas the board took the easy way and we have sacked yet another manager makes you wonder where the club is heading

13.) 27 Sep 2013
How many industries do you know where employees get £40 grand a week for training a couple of hours a day. I agree pdc should have kept it inhouse. However as for Bardsley he still should go for slating the team for losing opening day. Pdc still gave us the victory over the mags which effectively kept us in the league.

14.) 28 Sep 2013
Yes we beat the Mags under PDC but that is in the past, we play them in a couple of weeks and we need to smash them again, don't be satisfied with beating the s*** we need to climb out of the bottom 3 ASAP. We have got a team capable of finishing mid table look at the second half of the Arsenal game, hopefully we employ a manager that can have us playing like that every week, they just need to find the right formula & find the best 11 from the squad.
