a little surprised it has took gus this long to realise the players he has inherited are not premier league class far from it. back four is garbage although brown is our best at the back he is poor o'shea to slow bardsley shouldn't be wearing a sunderland shirt. then weather we play ki or Cattermole makes no difference as both can't pass a ball but at least with ki his almost certain to stay on the field. for all the huff and puff across the middle the likes of Larsson colback gardener giaccerini are not up to the premiership plus Johnson for the outlay we paid he must go down as one of the clubs worse signings. up front i'm undecided about altidore as the service he is getting is poor. borini I would piggy back him to Merseyside and for all those who keep saying fletcher is not fit what a load of carp, I said this last season and I will say it again he can't hold a ball up to save his life his first touch is sunday morning class and his link up play rubbish. let's hope that poyet is man enough to ring the changes if not then we can say goodbye to the premier league

1. Ki is way by far the best midfielder we've got he is brilliant at holding the ball and producing good passes he keeps us ticking 2. bardsley, everyone has more or less forgiven him due to his performances whcih have been great since his return and scored some decent goals for us also loves the club 3. borini granted isn't the best but has worked his socks off for us and is definitley one of our most technically gifted players 4. how can you even say that about fletcher after everything he's done for us he's just going through what every striker goes through n that's a dry spell which won't last long!

One Gary Rowell, I'm sure not fany of us think what you're thinking, sure our back 4 are absolute sponges but I think the rest of the team isn't carp. Ki is definitely one of the best signings PDC made and also Fletcher is still a goalscorer but when you have a team that can't create goals you're not going to score are you! 'safc_forever!' I agree with pretty much all of that!

No wonder our club reigns as perennial fodder in the EPL with comments from fans like, 'Ki is brilliant' and 'Borini is one of our most technically gifted players'.
They both belong to other clubs, clubs who didn't want them around becase they aren't good enough. So what happens, we get them. They form part of an inept squad of players who have taken '8 POINTS' this season and you come on here and defend them. If its third tier footall you crave like what we suffered in the 80's then you must be loving what your seeing out on the park because that's where we're heading. Players like Ki & Borini might show the odd neat touch, pass or finish but they haven't intergrated into a team. Football matches are won & lost as a team. Look at your Hull Citys and your Southampton's. Not a superstar in site but as a team there hard to beat. We on the other hand role over and die like the proverbial xmas puppy!

Well flaming ginja and safc forever we all have our opinons and I appreciate yours. I won't say i'm lucky but I have seen my beloved team play in three tiers of English football and I must admit this current crop I have been watching the last few seasons are one of the most spineless I have seen. no class no heart it saddens me to watch poor performance over and over again. pdc said it on numerous occasions how poor the team was and finally gus now realises how bad they are I just hope the board give him time to turn the club around even if it means championship football next season lads
