Was it just me or did fletcher look really sharp when he came on for the donkey?
I just hope it's not a show for the teams that are scouting him!

{Ed001's Note - does sharp mean being stood in an offside position making no attempt to get onside even though there is a good chance the ball will be played through to him as the only striker? He was flagged twice for it but the amount of times he was stood offside not bothering to get back onside was much higher. I was really disappointed in him, I thought he would have been busting a gut to prove a point after Altidore's lazy display.}

Most strikers start their runs from an off side position then arch their run often get caught off side! What I was talking about was when he wasn't getting the balls for that to work he got in a deeper position and was trying all sorts of turns and flicks and was unlucky a few times they didn't come off ;)

Ed I think fletcher is going through the motions and I for one would like to see the club sell him and use the money to invest in a new striker. although he knows where the goal is his link up play and first touch is conference class let's see him sold

Agree that we need a more consistent striker, but I think confrence comment is a bit strong lol. I would just like him to show the club and fans the respect they've shown him! and Finnish is time being the player we know he can be

Fletcher is not just going through the motions.
He is not receiving the service when its required.
just as all strikers he requires the correct service at the right time.
He busted a gut last night against the Mancs even with the injury he is still carrying,
Give the lad a break and get behind the players, SAFC are on the up if we give them the support.
