I would change slightly for Stoke. Keep the same defence and play Cattermole and Rodwell as holding midfielders with Giacherinni in the hole behind Wickham Alvarez on the left and Buckley on the right. It's a bit more attacking with Buckley playing wide as an old fashioned winger to stretch Stoke and Alvarez playing more like an inside left playmaker so that Van Anholt can make runs. We need to score and so have to take more chances with the way we play.

To be honest, I'd drop wickham, fletcher & jozy and play one of our under 21 strikers, they're doing good on good form, might be the wake up call our guys need. Heavens know we can't do any worse, the pure amount of misses is astounding.

That would be fine with me, Wyndrusher.

For me Rodwell has been a little poor, he hadn't played for City at all so maybe give him a little break

Agree that we need to change the striker situation, wether it's a kid or putting Johnson up top, honestly I think he's our biggest goal threat
But Gus will keep his faith with Wickham, he was happy with his performance and will continue to play

I think he's sticking with Wickham with the hope that he'll sign a new contract. Personally I think if Gus is insisting on this 4-5-1 system, we need to clear out all our forwards and buy one or two that are fully fleshed out for that role. Fletch & wick only ever seem to do well when there's another striker along side them.

Of course he is. If he doesn't play him he won't sign a contract and his value will go down. The club needs him to get goals so if he doesn't sign a contract at least there will be other clubs interested. Fletch and Jozy won't see much game time until after January when he either signs or gets sold.
