I haven't posted for a while but when I last did it was to lambast the club for giving Conor Wickham a four and a half year deal. He has done nothing in the interim to change my mind. Can anyone explain to me what he gives to the team? The only good thing is that we can now get a fee when we sell him in the summer although who is going to buy him I don't know. I am on record saying that Fletcher, Wickham and Altidore ( now gone ) wouldn't score ten Premier League goals between them. I think I am still on track but regret not getting a price from Mr Hill! As I have previously posted we have no creativity in midfield. I don't know what the set up is at the club for finding players but it is not working. I only hope the bottom 3 keep losing and we scrape the odd point. I can imagine Villa will find the scoring touch when we meet next week. We can't improve with the same nucleus of players we see week in week out. Another nail biting end to the season I'm afraid.

If we keep on drawing we will get relegated ! on Wickham our alleged manager keeps playing himon the wing where he needs to be up front with Defoe so we havnt seen the best of him in that positon ! agree there is no creativity in midfield only Rodwell gets in to the box and will score goals if we can keep him fit !

Couldn't agree more with lessthan88, although his comments on whickham are true, they easily apply to virtually the whole squad.Ive supported this great club since the early 50s and can honestly say that apart from a couple of seasons under Reid and one under kean this must rank as one of the poorest teams we've ever put together.Whatever league we eventually end up in next season we have to have wholesale changes to the way our club is run.Ive no doubt Poyet is a decent man but he is totally out of his depth and should go, along with most of those responsible for our current situation, 40,000 fans deserve better. If the structure doesn't undergo change then you can rest assured we will have this discussion season after season.

It's the fallout of several managers buying average or over the hill players on stupid money causing us to be stuck in a spiral where we can't grow the team to have enough backup.

Never mind attracting quality, we need stability first who would come here the way we're managed? First a clear out and reinforcement of the squad then build upon it getting a balanced team then as results improve quality players will look at us and think differently.
