My worry for this season is about our left side - with the exception of van Arnholt we struggled there last season big style and rather than spending 15 mil on a central mid fielder I would rather see us look to either back fill van Arnholt and push him forward in a 3 with cats and Larson - that would
Be awesome and then bring in a pacy left side attacker to complete the balance - we have a number of players who can do central and right side roles but no one competently on the left. So for me I would rather see us buy quallity in areas of the field where we are short rather than to better what we already have- when we can field a balanced side then we can work on improving the quality within the squad.

Your so right on quality! look what happened last season!. Sunderland in the transfer market at the moment is like buying an item going to the counter to pay for it and finding someone has stolen your credit card! and then going to the charity shop for an alternative item!. i'm really worried for next season as we don't seem to learn the lessons of last season its quality or relegation simple as that!
