What management team at a club would let a player like Lens go before securing a replacement. The club is in a mess all right. What are they thinking of the side is much weaker than last season which takes some doing. All that was needed from the team last year was probably 3 good quality signings. But no that is to easy for the sunderland board and management team.

agree with that MOST normal boards / managers wouldn't sanction a sale of a player unless a replacement comes in FIRST! . Sunderland do, and the worst part about that is we are short of players to start with! the Kaboul sale was evidence of this! poor management at team and board level! we NEVER learn and the consequence is RELEGATION and frustrated fans!

Sounds as if we are up against it now if ssn are correct. Looks as if we don't have any plan in place for recruitment what has Moyes and the managment team been doing for the last 4 to 5 weeks since Moyes arrived. It should not have taken long for an experienced manager to quickly understand what we needed to improve the side and act. So you have to ask yourself what is the problems.

ED what do you think about the M, villa tweet about him being broken hearted the club not signing him before the transfer window ended despite him signing a pre Janurary contract!? . is this the club not willing to pay the reported £8. million fee Rubeun want now and therefore we don't pay a penny in Janurary? talk about lack of ambition! sometimes I don't believe this club! penny pinching at its extreme! i'm not surprised the fans are angry!
