is it SAFC that struggles to attract players or is it David Moyes. For me I do believe the club has a part to play in this as our finances are in such a state - but our facillities are second to none and our fans dito - so there is more that is good than there is bad about SAFC. This then brings me to the manager - I believe he has the biggest role to play in convincing players to come to the club - and from where I sit this is where we are failing dismally - you can't spend 6 months moaning about how poor we are then expect players to jump at the chance of joining the club - especially when you have hand picked 5 of the squad and have chased or won't play another handfull. Players don't want to play for us now who have been here for some time - that can't be right!- for me man management and carisma are essential tools for a football manager and David Moyes has none! I don't get any possitive vibes, see any joy or feel any heart from our manager - in short Mr Short he is lack luster and uninspiring - and it is this which is most dammaging to our club and our persuit of players

Regardless of Moyes negativity it is plausible to suggest that if our league position was better we would have no issue attracting players. For all I am unsure about Moyes the blames are to blame for that league position. Moyes has a say but he can't control an individual performance on game day. I feel for Moyes he joined a sinking ship with no money. He takes far to much stick.

I Think Moyes doesn't want to be here! and is just going through the motions. its difficult for him as he was promised some money for players and hasn't been giving much! having said that his signings leave a lot to be desired so do I trust him with more money? no! mind the problems lie also in the boardroom and training as we can't even defend a corner and most other teams seem to be better motivated! surely in the championship there are some decent players? and looking at the fa cup teams this weekend they are certainly better motivated!

Hello stokoe! Nice honest reply. The answer to your question I believe is that if short is going to stick with him then he has to give him some money from somewhere if not now then in the summer. No good keeping Moyes and not providing money for improvements especially if we go down. But I agree with everything you have said his signings leave a lot to be desired and I would love to watch a training session

Well now we have 2 more injury prone players though I like Oviedo very solid left back and quick! Gibson? not sure mind like to have had Ulloa reminds me of Defoe as he's fast fit and puts himself about and most importantly . scores goals!

Ulloa is furious Leicester won't let him join us. Would like us to keep pushing with this one as ulloa would be an excellent addition IMO glad we got Oviedo and if Gibson can keep for (big if) he will do a job in midfield.

Think its disgraceful the way Leicester have treated Ulloa . I hope he keeps his promise and doesn't play for them again! . and get relegated. that'll wipe the smile off Linkekas smug face!

I'm shocked they haven't let him leave but even more surprised that they said it was because we are a relegation rival. Yet they sell schlupp to palace? More to this than meets the eye me thinks!
