Who believes Sunderland will return at the first attempt to the Prem? And will Moyes still be in charge by then?

well events have happened since then. i'm glad Moyes has gone ed BUT why didn't he do this after the Bournemouth game when we were relegated? it leaves us in limbo with the manager situation . contracts and players we desperately need to try and get us back in the Premiership! i'm not confident Short has the ability to chose the right manager personally i'd go for Nigel Pearson with Kevin Phillips as his assistant . or we need a young hungry dynamic manager in the ilk of Eddie Howe! whatever happens it need to happen sooner reather than later and we need a hugs clearout of players and the sooner Ellis Short sellsthe club to someone with football knowledge the better!

{Ed001's Note - because he was hanging on for a pay off, but the club told him outright that was not going to happen as they could not afford to pay him off. It was all about the money, though I have no doubt he will trot out excuses soon enough.}

Again ED a week after Moyes left the club and we are still procastigating over new manager! surely we have identified targets and the longer its left we are going to have the same situation as last season! do we ever learn? apparently not!

{Ed001's Note - you still have the same man in charge, who has learnt nothing from all those years in charge. Normally people learn by making mistakes and trying not to repeat them. For some reason he makes mistakes and doesn't see them as mistakes and so repeats them deliberately! I don't get it.}

Agree tottaly! Ellis Short needs a football advisor and because he hasn't had one during his reign is the main reason why we are in the mess we are in! more than likely all the names linked ie McInnis . Clough . Grayson etc etc will be ignored and he will chose someone who is out of work (no compensation ) and can work with no funds and worse still he will leave it to the last minute so the new manager has no time to sort a team for the new season! . hopeless!

{Ed001's Note - the only time he did get it right was probably Allardyce and you then got shafted by England.}

And now I hear that Short won't pay the £1 million compensation to Aberdeen for Mcinnis? eh! unbelievable! it just get s worse! the sooner Short goes the better we are becoming a laughing stock! . AGAIN!

{Ed007's Note - If Sunderland are looking to bounce straight back up to the EPL McInnes isn't going to do that. He'd need time and that's something managers don't get in the Championship.}

AND! any new manager will have to do it without no transfer money? we need someone who can work miracles! . and shop in Poundland! lol.

{Ed007's Note - McInnes is looking for reassurances about the transfer budget.}
