The Gyan loan deal is ajoke
the club is a shambles at
the moment and the
performance today was like
the club..all over the place
.we must revert to 4-4-2

Gyan's move to the Arab Emirates shows that sunderland dont have ambition to be a top english club, rumour has it Newcastle had a bid turned down but Gyan was willing to see the deal through

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Gyan wanted to go. So what sort of drivel are you spouting about lack of ambition as a club?

Its all well and good saying gyan is unhappy, why wait til now to loan him out. First signs of his head being turned they should have got rid, now the whole team is unsettled and weve lost a 15 goal striker. 4 months without a striker could see us relegated!? Ftm

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We have a decent squad.
I think the Koean lad can do a job.
The problem is that the manager cant pick the right team.

i think the owners of sunderland and newcastle both realise the fans are not happy as you only need to look at todays attendance 12,000 below capacity at home to one of the top teams in the league who also brought 2,500 and the newcastle v fulham game 10,000 down. the chairmen of both clubs will be concerned about the drop in attendences and hopefully ellis short will realise that and the tactics of his manager are not upto premiership class and now is the time to move him on along with gyan who although a good player if he doesn't want to play for club then let him go. the question is who do you replace bruce with already on other sites the fans are shouting for o'neill who thinks he would be a good choice to get the team performing and hopefully the crowds back as for gyan we will need to wait until january. a concerned fan

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Nial Quinn said he could see a change in Darren Bent and could see he wasnt giving 100%.
Why couldnt he have seen this coming?
It was obvious that Gyan was unhappy they should have let him go.
It is a worry that we only signed one striker in the first place., the other two in SBs words were for the future.
Steve Bruce was rumoured to have been given six games to turn us around.
Well he hasnt.
I have no belief in a manager who thinks Turner is a great prospect and sticks with Cattermole when he has better and safer options. I stuck up for him in the past but he is a total liability on the pitch.
Time for Bruce to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not just his tactics that concern me.
He has told the Echo that he had cleared the air with Gyan.
Next thing Gyan gone.
Well done SB.
When we didnt sign Muntari and Mensa it was obvious that Gyan would go.Pity the manager couldnt see it.
Why have we no lb and lw when we signed so many new players?
In a word CLUELESS.

Agree0 Disagree0

Unlike our neighbours, our owner has backed his manager in the transfer market.
Unfortuneately his confidence has been misplaced.

Agree1 Disagree0

Newcastle were only 10,000 under capacity because it was a bank holiday weekend. and the away attendance get 5,000 alicated seats and fulham only had 400 so realy newcastle were only 4/5,000 of capacity

Agree1 Disagree0

So where were all the fans who have been waiting for years to get tickets do they not realise you can now pay on the day at sjp this has not happened for a long time

just wait for it all the SMB's will now start saying gyan was crap, and they didnt want him anyway.
The rumour is he's been shipped out because he
refused to eat cheesy chips and drink alco pops.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Gyan has great talent. Just didnt want to stay.
Another Bent scenario, we will just have to let him go.

Agree1 Disagree0

He has joined a better team lol and you all laughed at us......how ironic!

Agree0 Disagree1

Some Sunderland fans may say he was crap. He was certainly playing crap for us.
But whos fans were saying that Nolan

Agree0 Disagree1

Shut up you geordie tossers, Gyan was crap in pre-season and has been crap the 1st 3 games this season, if you watched him you could tell he didn't want to play, anothern B£nt situation, funny the geordie saying don't say he was crap, funny how when Nolan,Barton and Enrique were playing for you they were class, but as soon as they jumped ship to go to better clubs then they rubbish according to your fans! And Yes I consider West Ham and QPR a better team than newcastle because at least their owners give them money and don't stiff them all the time! SGBS

Agree3 Disagree2

The above post total bull crap. we all know the players newcastle have are better than sunderland sqauad on form atm.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

About time the focus of humour moved away from you for a little while :)

to all the SMB's who said gyan would never leave. well you look like right muppets now ha . agent bruce, genius

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Yes Gyan couldnt settle in Pennywell and was hoping for a swap to Hendon but Agent Bruce said you can go on loan to UAE team. Gyan will miss the cheesey chips and white cider but he has upped and gone to the land of camels. As said weeks ago by ALL geordies, he did NOT want to stay. SMB SMB

Agree1 Disagree0

All the poor little folk from the smaller City all bitter because Barton left? Aww coming to the SAFC page for hugs?

Agree1 Disagree0

Smaller city, is that the one with an
international airport, cathederal, main train station, and a proper university, and
also the one thats known world wide.
You pathetic deluded mackem.

Agree3 Disagree0

Smaller city my arse! Im from durham anyway but your trying to sanp about city size cos your best player left for a second rate team rather than play for you!

Agree2 Disagree0

You deviate from the point I made and tried to make yourself feel better. You are smaller and that is FACT. Having a Cathedral has nothing to do with being a City, nor does an Airport. I think you'll also find that Sunderland City Council help fund that Airport anyway. Oh and you've finished behind us for 3 years now. Goodbye again.

Agree1 Disagree1

We were in the championship fo one of them

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly and how did you get into the championship coz Shearer took you down you Geordie Clown!

Agree1 Disagree0

From Durham? Guess you support your local team...oh wait..

Agree0 Disagree0

Cathedral? eh isnt that in durham (sunderland)

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland is the biggest town between Leeds and Glasgow..... FACT augue as much as you like my little maggie friends , Look it up! you little toon
