Personally if we can get anywhere near the 8 million we should take it for Whickham. We won't get that of course as he only has a year left on his contract. Neither he or Altidore are going to get us anything like the number of goals we need. Whickham gets knocked off the ball too easily and Altidore, although stronger, couldn't hit a barn door fron five yards. Having said all that we are in desperate need of a proven goal scorer or we are going to struggle to get enough goals. I trust in Poyet to get the people he needs by the end of the week. I HOPE!!!!!

Been looking at the numbers and we've lost 17 players and brought in 6
We need more players in because if injuries start piling up in the season (and let's face it, we have a good few injury prone players) we will have another troublesome season

So West Ham have made a bid for Wickham according to ssn.
I would like him to stay personally especially as he has had a decent pre-season netting 3 times.
