The new name of Sid James park is " The ASDA ground " Ashley Sports Direct Arena"
Well done agent Ash!
Also before the mags say they are getting paid for this WRONG!!!
Ash is doing this to show prospective clients how their companies name would work.
Ash will have FREE advertising, imagine if this goes on through to the olympics and the ASDA stadium is used in the games. Ashley has hung you out again, you couldn't make it up!
Asda price, Ashley is patting his fat arse and saying mmmmmm Ashley price!

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Remind me why the olympics is not being held at the Stadium of Plight?

Or why they originally missed out Sunderland completely on the route the olympic torch is taking?

I'll tell you why, its because everything about Sunderland - the stadium, the town and its suburbs are a complete sh*t hole!

Agree5 Disagree2

You need to look at the suburbs of newcastle before spouting off about other places.

Agree2 Disagree3

SMB avoiding the point put forward as usual!

How come your little stadium does not have any Olympic football?

Agree1 Disagree1

Spitting the dummy out big style ha your old shed is an embarrassment! The stadium of delight is the best in the north east

Agree1 Disagree3

No matter what has happened to our stadium this week, the fact is that it will always be bigger and more historic than your copied portuguese clubs stadium name.

Olympic football???????

Agree0 Disagree1

Our name is copied? How about yours? Copied from a budget sports retailer?

Agree0 Disagree0

The Sports Direct Arena is dropping to bits son! Stadium of Light is miles ahead of it! Well known junior!

Agree0 Disagree0

Its hardly copied - there aren't any other football stadiums called that you absolute clown!

Olympic football????????

Agree0 Disagree0

Well most of the newcastle and sunderland players live in DARRAS HALL, 2 mile out of newcastle hmmm point proved SMB SMB

Agree0 Disagree2

Coz players live near newcastle it makes you better?haha another geordie clown, how old are you 12? bye bye your on the wrong page, hope newcastle get sposored by george to go with their ASDA Stadium.SGBS

Agree2 Disagree0

OUT of newcastle clever clogs. Wheyyyyy!

Agree0 Disagree0

Benfica play at the Stadium of Light - The original one that sits 65,000+ and been around a site longer than yours. You SOL so named because it was built on a pit and after named after the "Davy Safety Lamp" the irony of that is not lost. George Stephenson invented the first safety lamp used extensively in North East Coal Field and the users of his lamp became known as - Geordies. So your not original in naming your ground and your runners up in the lighting arrangements. Losers!

Agree1 Disagree3

Talking about lights and a foreign clubs stadium name all because you're so ashamed of your own arenas name ho ho ho

Agree2 Disagree0

Haha ok they would still rather live near your rivals than in a small town in durham haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like it will be the Virgin Arena soon!
Branson is in Toon!

Agree0 Disagree0

Small town in Durham? If that's the case then since we are considerably larger than you does that make you a hamlet in Northumberland? Ho ho ho
