Der der der der news just in.
We need to remove another 80 - 100k wages per week before any further signings come in.
Where is the hugh investment then?
Come on Ellis you need to speculate to accumulate.
I've a spare £20 if that helps!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Who told you that info, don't you think Ellis Short is backing this club big time, sounds like a skunks poisonous post to me.

Agree0 Disagree0

No skunk just take a step back and look at the facts.
Don't get to hung up on Paulos revolution he can only polish some of these turds some are still turds.
Match me £20 person

Agree0 Disagree0

What is that scunk? How many players have you signed this window? Keep to the 1234% loan deals! £2m for Remy and he is injured for the first month! RAW74

Agree0 Disagree0

What part of stand back and take a look don't u understand? Net spend is zilch.
Wages slightly down on last year but still too much
He needs to offload b4 he is allowed to spend.
Unless Ellis spends another 10 - 20m we will still be in the bottom half
This is reality not fantasy

Agree0 Disagree0

Either another scunk trying to exact a little intelligence or a Cats fan that has his or her glass half empty! In PDC we trust RAW74

Agree0 Disagree0

Does half empty equal reality?
No one would be happier to finish in the top half than me and see the barcodes relegated but come on give up the tenants special.

Anyway bent on the bench this weekend

Agree0 Disagree0

Doubt if Ellis needs your 20 quid mate if he can afford to leave the neck end of 2 grand as a tip when he goes to the Indian so you should spend your money filling your glass up as the transfer window is open until September and he may just surprise us all yet.

So, are Huddlestone to Hull and Parker to Fulham or QPR now sufficiently done to rule them out of our English central midfielder hunt? Who now then?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Best news I've heard all summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Huddlestone and parker aren't the only English midfielders in the prem you know

Agree0 Disagree0

Barry?Wouldnt have chucked this name last week given his calibre. However given the press talk today about him being offered to villa then why not.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry if I upset any fellow Sunderland fans here but I for one would have taken any one of the three spurs boys who where allowed to move on today. Cabral alongside any of them would of been a better central midfield pairing than him and Larrson. Having said that I'd like to think PDC & the club know what there doing and have other options in mind. I also find it interesting that when Steve Bruce decided he desperately needed two midfielder's he never came close to taking Cattermole, Gardner or Vaughan. Three poor CM's in my opinion!

Agree0 Disagree0

No body has mentioned Milner who would be a class signing

Agree0 Disagree0

Milner not cm

Agree0 Disagree0

Interesting thread. How about Jack Rodwell? He doesn't feature that much for Man City and isn't likely to for the foreseeable future.

Agree0 Disagree0

Milner is a CM, he just gets put RM at City because of Silva, Toure, Nasri etc in CM positions

Agree0 Disagree0

Still think Duncan because after last night England are s*** and have no playmakers

Agree0 Disagree0

Milner definately fits the bill, top player and strong, great engine. Stumbling block would be wages I think.

Well huddlestone has signed for hull which English midfielder are we going to buy now?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Don't think we will buy English mate huddlestone well over-rated at 5mill

Why don't we try and get Gareth Barry on loan?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Because he is Sh!t. Too old, too slow, too over rated, too high wages!

Agree0 Disagree0

And the posts get worse and worse barry is finished

Agree0 Disagree0

Get him signed he will do the job

Anyone else think that Bardsley having to stay this window is good?

I know he made a mistake with the casino incident and due to niggling injuries he did not have the best season but let's be honest, when he plays he gives 100% and looks like he actually cares!

Go back to the 5-1 mauling from the skunks and he was our best player on the pitch and won player of the season!

IMO PDC should give him a chance to convert to the new mentality of fitness and work ethic and we as a club may benefit from it!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree. I quite like bards

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah he will have the same season angeleri had when he was here he won't play a game for sunderland again he will be the forgotten man

Agree0 Disagree0

I like bardsley mate and would like to keep him but pdc doesn't i'm not sure how bad his break is if not to serious he could still be gone by deadline day

Agree0 Disagree0

Used to love him in the team but thought he was poor last year won't be going this window because of his injury but must be third choice now so doubt if we'll see him again probably be shipped out at Christmas.

De Cegile - left back, very unlikely

Belfastri - left Back, could happen

Matri - Forward 50/50

Gabbiadini - Forward very unlikely

are all targets now for PDC.

With Sunderland in a simple change of getting them.
