I see Whickam is coming back. to be honest if I was him i'd want to leave!. MON doesn't know whether to keep him loan him out sell him!. I feel he hasn't been given a chance here and all this coming and going isn't going to do his confidence any good. he's good enough to play for England u21 but MON thinks he's not good enough to even warm the bench!. we need him here as another option but MON needs to give him more play time!

What about Lennon from Celtic, we have no chance of Moyes, Di Matteo would be another choice but we will probably got Coyne ex Bolton or Phil Brown.
PS all of the above would do better than MON dead m an walking.
No I am not a mag before anyone asks.

I got a good laugh at all of the manager names you lot are putting into the hat.
Try Laurie Sanchez or Ian Dowie, that would be more realistic.
Top prize goes to the one that said Klinsmann. ahaha

Call your selves sunderland fans get a grip and support the club o'neill isn't going anywhere why would short employ him then sack him a year later they have a plan in stall that won't work in his first two seasons they need time, look at moyes he didn't do it all at once did he?

Well ill give him to the summer but I can't see him staying after then!. we need a TOTAL new team in the summer!. that's IF we avoid relegation and that's not certain!

Reply to the above post I do believe that mon realises some of the players at the club are not good enough at the moment. mon has made 4 signings and a few players on loans since he came, before he can get the squad he wants he realises that some of our current players will have to leave which will be hard to get rid because of some of the contracts given by previous managers. Short has brought mon in to try and turn the club around which is not going to happen overnight so there is no way he will be sacked. although myself and a lot of other fans are getting disheartened by what we are watching we should all get behind mon as most of us were happy when we got the guy.

With the possible exception of Fletcher- though a good start has fizzled out- the players that O'Neill has brought in have been no better than those already here. The fact that £15m has been squandered on Johnson and Graham underlines that while we desperately need to re-build the team, Clueless O'Neill is not the man to do it. Time for the CON to go!
