The odds of O'Neil to liverpool have been slashed to 10-1

could happen

Believable3 Unbelievable5

I think Liverpool have set their standard higher than O'Neil

Agree4 Disagree8

I think geordies are trying to stir rubbish as usual, they may go for Pardew! Could Happen!

Agree7 Disagree3

We don't want O Neil to leave Sunderland, he is doing a really good job. SMB

Agree7 Disagree4

Well he is saved us from certain relegation and now will have a chance to build his team for next season and hopefully do well

Ambition for your club is good but delusion is simply ammunition for us to laugh at your club. The names you lot are coming up with if Championship manager stuff and then these players wont even go to Sunderland on a game. Lollorente, Muncian, Johnson, Holliet, etc Seriously...Ask yourselves this what can we offer these players? No champions League, no Europa League. Cant match the top clubs for wages. You finished in the bottom half for god sake. Best looking abroad or at the relegated sides casts off. SMB.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Europa league and the Geordies think they're the dogs b*******. Didn't you lot get Cabaye from a team qualified for the cl? Bet Ashley doesn't throw massive wages about! Think before you type this drivel. Clown!

Agree3 Disagree1

? Point in this.We will soon see who we do or don't sign has nothing to do with your bulls**t.

Why are you bothered anyway may I ask.

We ain't bothered we have complete trust in our manager.

Agree1 Disagree1

Europa league =plastic europe.
Great big clubs like Middlesbrough fc and Fulham have been in the final in recent years lol.

This is what Spurs player Benoit Assou-Ekotto has to say about the Europa league.

Assou-Ekotto, it appears, would not be content at a club who are not playing in Europe's premier competition. The champions league next term. 'All players want to play this competition,' he said. 'A few months ago, I said I never wanted to participate in the Europa League, because this competition is useless.

Even average players devalue the Plastic europe yet newcastle the desperate for any trophy lol embrace it.

Agree1 Disagree4

Desperate for a trophy, Plastic cup? Oh how this smacks of bitterness and jealousy. Lets go back to to the start of the season when the unwashed were banging about Sir Brucey getting them into the same competition.....We have done in 2 seasons what you have not in your PL life. Keep grasping at straws, its shows just how gutted you are as your small team is standing still. Always in our shadow. SMB.

Agree4 Disagree1

Point in this?????? You are linking yourself with player who you have no chance of signing.......What do you think the point was? It wasn't the players you are signing SMB.

Agree3 Disagree1

Thats right because the unwashed wouldn't want to finish 5th and qualify for Europe. Only S**T's team in the competition. City, United. Bilbao and A.Madrid final. Yer really S**T. Your transfer wishlist has players for all these teams. SMB. Bitter pills taking this morning?

Agree3 Disagree1

So now yous are slatting the europa league.
wasnt that your goal at the start of the season..

Agree5 Disagree1

No our goal was to win the league, never going to happen but it must be every teams goal.

Agree0 Disagree2

Have i read that right? every teams goal is to win the league? are you serious?

Agree2 Disagree0

Is the europa league the same competition safc fans dreamt of being in at the beginning of the season and bragged about being in with all the world class signings yous were signing .and nufc would be fighting relagation fast forward to now and you lot are slaging of the compatition get real smb.

Agree1 Disagree1

Its every teams duty to finish as high as they can to win as many games as possible. Why wouldnt any team aim for that ideal? Of course it doesn't mean its going to happen . Why shouldnt a team want to go for it and try and win the Premiership?

2012/2013 season:
Newcastle 4th.
Sunderland 18th.
Middlesborough promoted.

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Lol OK we shall see, remember we expected top six the season just gone and newcastle relegated but look what happened.

Agree1 Disagree1

4th will be hard when your squad is full of average players and your best players are sold for high prices

Agree1 Disagree1

Middlesbrough*
Silly jaw-dee. Xxx

Agree1 Disagree0

There must be more Toon fans posting on this page than their own!!
Can't read the posts we want to read cos of Toon fans flooding the page...SGB's

Agree1 Disagree1

I am sure Ed put both fans views on this ~BANTER page. Point is Sunderland don't have the fans to comment. SMB.

Agree2 Disagree2

unbelievable...with the big WARCHEST safc have they are going to bid for steven fletcher the wolves striker....haha can see your moving in the right direction...

Believable3 Unbelievable1

And suppose it was a really bad move for Newcastle when they went for a striker from a relegated side last season

Agree1 Disagree0

No mate but your all banging on that you have 25 million to 30 million plus funds from last year and gyan,s fee aswell and if this is all correct and this fletcher is the bee,s knees why is nobidy else looking at him..spurs,everton,arsenal etc etc...and as for us buying a striker from relegated side he was free and fletcher is not in the same class as ba.......
