ed an interested cardiff fan here in peace. Do you and fellow sunderland fans think fraizer cambell will be a good signing to help our promotion push?
Good luck for the rest of the season by the way hope to be playing you next year {Ed013's Note - Yes he will do a good job in the Championship if he can stay fit}

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Come on martin oneil, show some guts and get darren bent back to sland

Agree6 Disagree2

Agree2 Disagree0

I think fraz would be a great signing, he is at his level in the championship tho. As ed says, very injury prone too lm86

Can anybody clear this up please

Some people are saying that the bookies have slashed the odds on Danny graham signing for sunderland and that it's nailed on and then two threads below it states (on here) that Danny graham has been quoted as saying that he wouldn't go near sunderland and wants nothing to do with us.

Can anybody clear this up?

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Ignore those threads, graham is more than eager to play for the lads lm86 {Ed024's Note - The comments attributed to Graham as i understand it were made some time ago}

Agree2 Disagree3

Cant wait until he scores an own goal against Newcastle

Agree0 Disagree0

To im86 are you Graham's agent related or a mag because your really fighting his case for him

Agree1 Disagree0

As Cats fans we would say that we never tred the dirt filled pathways of Newcastle but if they would offer us 40,000 a week realisticly would you take it? I hate the bar code bums but if they were paying the Wonga then fill my pockets with Job Seekers money any time from the depths of filth!

Agree0 Disagree0

I've been busted, haha. No not his agent, just think he is what we need at the mo lm86

I know so many people are going disagree with me here saying i'm either deluded or whatever I don't really care but if I was the manager i'd foregt the idea of getting Graham Hooper Holt and the rest of that shi*e and put a £16mill bid in for Moussa Sow Liverpool are thinking of putting a 10mill bid in for him fenerbache couldn't possibly say no to £16-£20mill if we want someone who will link up well with sess fletcher he is our man

Believable2 Unbelievable0

You're right, you are deluded

Agree3 Disagree2

What a shout mate just checked career stats, and watched all his goals have no doubt he will get a lot of goals in the premier lge don't know about 16m as he's valued at 11m almost a copy of demba ba only worry is why no premier lge team have taken a gamble on him and wages may be to high

Agree3 Disagree0

Bit of a risk- will chairman allow that money to go out after £22 mill in summer doesn't seem to have worked

Agree0 Disagree0

I know that's what I was thinking aswell 16 mill maybe it is to much but for 10-11 mill he might be worth it I just think someone else will have picked him up if we bid to late in the summer

Can I please say thank you to Chris hughton for lifting me out of my depressed state hope he enjoyed the same bottle of wine o'neil was drinking earlier now come on chris get that graham deal concluded quickly so I can sleep soundly tonight

Believable4 Unbelievable2

What a fool you are I'm hoping we sign graham, a striker who scored 14 goals in the premier league last season and 4 in the past 5 games this for 5m. who do you want judas bent back for 15m?

Agree2 Disagree4

From what I've read graham wants to return to the north east so hopefully we sign him. I think he's on par with fletch. Would like some pace up front tho..

Agree0 Disagree2

Atleast bent isnt a mag

Agree2 Disagree0

In reply to the graham fan no I would never like to see bent back in sunderland let alone a red and white strip but would be extremely over joyed if we were to make a move or god forbid an offer for wilfried bony of Arnhem if you do not believe me watch him on YouTube mix between Phillips/drogba

Ed can you understand why O'neil won't give Whickham a chance up front with Wickham? {Ed024's Note - I'm guessing you mean up front with Fletcher - I think he's undecided if Fletcher & Wickham are a good fit. He does not have the luxury of a safe mid table position so he can give them a run of games together, so he's going with the formation he has most confidence in.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

He was hopless against bolton he's not good enough we need some top class stikers in like the time we bought bent and gyan big price yes but that's what we need {Ed024's Note - i hear you but the service he received in the Bolton game was poor - for me, the only way we will know is to play him up front with Fletcher for half a dozen games - but if you do that who does he drop ?}

Agree0 Disagree0

I understand what you mean ed and I now this is changing the subject on wickham nut what do you think our chances are of getting Moussa Sow if we put a really good bid in like 18mill or something {Ed024's Note - He has a great goal scoring record but I don't think we would have to pay £18m - closer to £10-£12 would probably be enough. Would love to see him in red and white. That said not sure MON will spend that much on a single player in Jan window, he's also at Fenerbache so may only move to another club playing in European competition}

Agree2 Disagree0

Drop mclean ut johnson on the left so he can put crosses in instead of cutting back on the time an put ses on the right where his pace trickery will work wonders

SSN says we have bid for Danny Graham. Not impressed. Surly there are better strikers with a better repertoire than boro, watford and swansea!! Ant to top it off, he is a Mag!!

Believable5 Unbelievable6

Not happyt with this we should have went in for odemwingie in stead

Agree4 Disagree4

Why are you doing this o'neil thought we were getting somewhere by starting to get rid of some of the deadwood just another expensive bench warmer

Agree3 Disagree3

To original post : wot benefit do you get cumin on here wit negative posts ? Ule not be bothered wether he's a mag if he bangs the goals in ! Hav a bit trust in wot mon is trying 2 do and get behind the lads, whoeva they are ! Jarra makem

Agree4 Disagree2

Its a free world and as so he is entitled to an opinion the same as the next fan good or bad.

Agree2 Disagree3

Waddle was a mackem so what?

Agree2 Disagree0

Personally I think graham would be a great signing. Granted he hasn't had much playing time at Swansea but when he has been on the pitch he has looked dangerous and has got himself on the score sheet. He loves to get in behind defenders and with fletchers aerial ability he could feed off any flick ons and his runs will stretch the defence creating space for sess to run into. Lm86

Agree3 Disagree3

2012/13 season:

Danny Graham 21 apps. 7 goals
Stephen Fletcher 25 apps. 8 goals

If you rate Fletcher (which I do) you can't really be slating graham as many on here are. Lm86

Agree3 Disagree2

To the text comparing goals to games ratio FFS have you watched sunderland this season took Johnson 13 games before he beat a full back and put a decent cross in you may ask how i know this because i was at every one of them mcclean's crosses nearly always hit first man compare this to two 2 fast direct wingers with a trick that get in behind there full backs there's your answer .

Agree2 Disagree1

Yes it's a free world mate but why not give the lad a chance b4 spreading negativity ? The same Woz said about fletcher nd look wot happened there ! I'm sick of hearing mag this nd Geordie that nd if he doesn't perform ile be the first 2 hold my hand up, but until then give him a chance bcos all this does is cause bad atmospheres at matches nd it spreads to the other players resulting in bad performances nd results !

Agree3 Disagree1

I admit Swansea have better wingers than us but by bringing in graham and creating a solid partner for Fletcher we will be reducing the importance of the wingers getting balls in the box. Two centre forwards will create alot more space for sees, and if you watch graham he loves to get in between fullback and centre back, draws the two and gives wingers more of an oppertunity to drift inside, which is when aj is at his best. Everyone has their own opinion but to me it is a no brainer, for five mill I don't think we could go wrong lm86

Agree2 Disagree1

Both fletch and graham rely on crosses for their goals. As for the ratio, 1 goal every 4 games is very poor for striker only ten a season. Fletch scored 12 goals with his head last season. This season he has scored no headers. We need johnno on the left and use the pace and trickery of sess on the right. {Ed024's Note - Drop Maclean ? Would Downing be a better option ?}

Agree2 Disagree0

Ed you've really got a bee in your bonnet about downing, you really that keen to see him here. I know McLean hasn't been fantastic this year but I think downing has been equally lacklustre so far lm86 {Ed024's Note - I know what your saying but the facts speak for themselves - we are not scoring headed goals - this is despite Fletcher who has been getting 50% of his goals over the last 2 seasons with his head, and Wickam who is 6ft 3in !!! I think its just too comfortable for Johnson (who is improving) and Maclean (who is either great or goes missing) they both know they are likely to start every game whether they do the biz or not. A bit of competition for places would give them the kick up the backside they need.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed I totally agree, we do need a bit more competition in the wide areas but i'm still not convinced about downing. He was taken to Liverpool to provide crosses for carrol and failed to impress there. The only reason for going for downing though is possibly the lack of other options. I would have loved to have seen Snodgrass last summer but that ship has sailed. As I said above I think this being the case means our best options are to strengthen the spine and play through the middle. Fletchers Ariel ability won't go to waste as said above, flick ons etc. I love seeing aj drift inside onto his left peg, so read above, I can't be arsed typing it again haha lm86

Agree0 Disagree0

Where do you think Jack Colback is from ? who did he support before he played for us ? did you know he lives in Newcastle & Guttierez is his neighbour ?. The only difference is Jack keeps his opinions about who he supports to himself & he would run through brick walls for SAFC, its not ideal that Graham is a mag but lets wait & see how he performs for us

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed I was suggesting drop mcclean put johnson on the LEFT so he can cross a ball instead of turning back all the time and put larsson or sess on the right don't want downing he is garbage

Sounds like we could be final get shot of some of the bench warmers, about bloody time. Save the club some money, and have more funds available for future players.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Yes and we've just had our latest signing to save us this season ..Elmo !

Agree1 Disagree1

If you read other posts on here you WMD realise mon has called Elmo back 2 force hull 2 buy him, which would release funds 4 further deals !
