It's true how come Sunderland and newcastle and even Middlesbrough can't keep there top players cos they don't like it up here they want to be down london or Manchester area honestly look at top players that's left the big three

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Saw SB on SSN yesterday at the cricket, and he stated that 'had he been given more time, he'd have turned it around' although he had been sat in the sun all morning when he made this statement! Wouldn't have him manage my bowel movements!

I don't care if we don't bring in a £10 million striker etc this january. I'm just happy we have finally got a quality manager who is making us play good football with the players we've got. We're not gonna finish in europe and we're not gonna get relegated. So why doesn't Mon just wait till the summer and bring in some quality and prepare for the 12-13 season? HA'way.

Believable12 Unbelievable1

Yeah the time to build is the summer great manager and a good cup run would do me

Agree8 Disagree1

Well said, got fraizer back shortly just working on his match fitness and he will be like a new striker, we had an off day at Chelsea with finishing, I'm sure we will beat Swansea even though they a good team

Agree6 Disagree1

Dont make me laugh you's are terrible and always will be!

Agree1 Disagree4

We are terrible where ye not at sid james on sunday thats what i called terrible

Agree0 Disagree0

Good teams play badly and win, bad teams play well and loose.

Agree0 Disagree2

^ what a load of utter rubbish, bad teams play well and lose?? stop mixing your meds geordie clown, bad teams play bad and lose, in your case SGB bad team play bad and get lucky again

Agree1 Disagree0

The toon must have played really well at fulham......if your logic is right!

Agree0 Disagree0

The toon played a blinder, Agent Ash is doing his job and working to his brief, built them up let let them down bit by bit.
The latest (Lets all laugh at the mags, this is true you couldnt make it up!) is that Newscuttle council want to keep the ST Sid James name around the city and asking everyone who follows the skunks to use that name only. That way the council doesn't have to pay for new signs. How dare the council tell a company that trades in that little city (smaller than Sunderland) that pays it rates and how just today showed the people in London how good that their little city is represented, geordie culture at its finest today, long may you give the council of newscuttle value for money at representing its culture with big bellies on show showing Newcastles title as England's most unhealthiest city ,second only to Glasgow in the UK. You see football works on so many levels. Their performance gave the rest of the North East such a buzz today thank you.

think its time to eat a bit of humble pie lads and lasses and admit the mags hav made a canny signing , all this " we didnt want him " and " he wasnt mon target he was brucies " is just making us look stupid ! they hav made a good signing lets just hope mon can match or better it if not in january then in the summer ! and remember " 1 player does not a team make "

Believable10 Unbelievable0

And where have you been to watch him to say he is a good signing

Agree1 Disagree1

Our Scouts have seen him play and I trust our Scouts after our last few signings.

Agree1 Disagree0

Colonel custer trusted his scouts too......oh dear

without seeming pety how many people have actually seen this cisse play a full game def not me so how do all these people on here say he is class if you go on you tube all they show you is the good bits. a bit like match of the day on sunday newcastle game was on for 2 mins

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Bitterness is everywhere. You will see how good he is along with Ba on the 3rd of March. You lot going to try and leave at half time again?? SMB.

Agree4 Disagree2

Well a lot of your fans wanted him when he was first linked..
but he picked the bigger club...

Agree4 Disagree2

Seriously, how can either team say each other is bigger....what exactly have either done? seriously....no trophies worth mentioning since the 1970's....grow up

Agree2 Disagree0

Couldn't agree more by the way who was the last team to win something in the 70s give ye a clue they didn't play in black and white

Agree1 Disagree0

Id class a big club as a team with a massive fan base and revenue made.

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree you have a 'massive' fan base, obesity seems to be a big prob on tyneside, revenue must be up!

Agree1 Disagree0

Newkebab are the biggest suporters.

This is what Papiss said about Sunderland also being interested:

“I am flattered by Sunderland’s interest.” “There were other clubs interested, but the moment Newcastle showed their full interest I was delighted to come – there was only one place for me.”

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Well he's not going to say you were his 2nd or 3rd choice is he,sunderlands interest was in the summer, not this window!

Agree3 Disagree1

Our interest was under bruce, we didn't put a bid in for him, so the mags are just being their usual clueless selves, the two dembas are at the ACON for upto 6 weeks so pointless craic from the geordie scum

Agree3 Disagree1

To be truthful his agent put it to the media that sunderland were intersted in signing him obviously not as soon as that statement came out newcastle who are the only team to show interest in him panicked and bought him for 10mill which other club would pay that type of money for a forward playing for a team in a relegation battle

Agree3 Disagree3

Its easy to distance yourself when the players does nt come. Newcastle didn't panick they been watching him since Carroll left. Called good scouting. Buying Ji and whickham that's panicking.

Agree8 Disagree5

Think both bought as having potential, players for the future.although i'm not too sure about ji,i think whickham will prove to be a gr8 signing. spewcastle, just like every other club in country have been guilty of signing dross!

Agree3 Disagree1

Did you hear bbcradio newcastle last night a german journalist was on saying cisse good player but also he spoke to bayern munich before the mags and was going to sign for them but bayern pulled out at last minute because something wasnt quite right

Agree4 Disagree1

18 Jan 2012 12:48:51
I really hate our fans sometimes, how can some of you say our neighbours aren't going upwards?! It makes me sick to say this but their heading for the CL, please mon buy decent players unlike ugly geordie brucey!

Believable2 Unbelievable3

What a change.....back in August you's were talking europe with all your soopa new players....and the toon for relegation with all our young untried Frenchies......remember.... ha ha ha... and lets face it your new manager cant buy any good players because good players dont want to play for Blunderland.....

Agree2 Disagree3

Thats being too negative and worrying over nothing because the scum have signed a striker. big deal, some fans need to sort themselves out

Agree3 Disagree1

You really think champs league? they're doing well, but not world beaters.from where we were a few weeks ago,can you not take any positives!

Agree2 Disagree0

Good buys unlike Bruceys. We should get rid of Sess and Mclean they are so poor...

Agree1 Disagree1

Are you for real? i hope your joking,if your not,you know nothing!

Agree1 Disagree1

Sorry, misread that, see where your coming from!

Agree0 Disagree0

Probs a geordie thinking they funny mate

Agree0 Disagree0

It's called sarcasm

Agree0 Disagree0

I was being sarcastic. Clearly all of Bruceys signings weren't bad-I was just highlighting 2 of his best signings who clearly aren't crap to make the sarcasm obvious. I actually think the vast majority are really starting to do well for us. My only issue at the moment is Bendtner the rest seem to be doing well.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah,i got it,agree most are starting to look the part,(too late for bruce!).if bendtner has fractured his cheekbone, that issue is removed, and will surely have to be replaced b4 the window closes.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jan 2012 09:34:29
i am worried we only going to sign some mediocre players who oniell knows like collins petrov etc none of which are any better than what we already have long slog ahead i think

Believable1 Unbelievable1

January window isnt a good time to buy unless you can get the players you want at the right price . i wudnt b bothered if mon waited til the summer and spent big then for the players he wanted at the right price .

Agree4 Disagree1

I agree mate, lets consolidate for now,and look ahead to next season

Agree2 Disagree0

Press talk mon stated he is not due to meet with short till this week as he is due at sol for game on saturday i think current squad is good enough to push us into the top half of the league but no higher so why not wait till the summer when mon can then decide who we need

Agree2 Disagree0

Cheers mate think its our best option , it wil give mon time to look at the players hes got and then next season buy big and put together a SQUAD that can genuinely challenge for europe !

Agree4 Disagree0

The thing is Scumberland have time to wait until the summer because you have no players who are being targeted by other clubs. So MON can wait to buy more rubbish to add to the rubbish you already have. Then he will leave when he can't get anymore money to buy more rubbish. vicious circle. SMB.

Agree3 Disagree4

Ppl were having an adult conversation until you had to come on with your childish remark go and finish your homework or you wil not get any sweets for bed !

Agree4 Disagree0

Mon could even make shola ameobi a good player

Agree1 Disagree1

Another pointless, unfunny, statement, from an immature spewcastle fan,get a life saddo!

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Jan 2012 09:26:59
it appears we are going to go with what weve got hope to finish mid table then try to sign people in the summer cisse was never gonna happen mags put in for him first we tried to hijack it but when ba is his best mate we had no chance bruce and keane wasted too much money we have to go back to square one im afraid

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Who cares if the mags got cisse, they were gonna get a striker eventually, O'neill said if he gets anyone it will be near the end of the window, stop worrying just coz the geordie scum have finally signed a decent striker, In MON we trust! HA'WAY THE LADS!!

Agree4 Disagree1

Dont worry get someone near end of window. what you mean after all the decent players available have gone and we are left with the bendtners of this world. it is time to worry my friend

Agree2 Disagree4

WHO CARES? i care. mags have 2 great strikers and weve got bendtner!! what kind of muppet are you

Agree3 Disagree3

The only muppet is yourself, we have fraizer coming back which will be like a new signing, yes we need a striker but if your worrying now then you want to screw your head on straight with 2 weeks left to go of the transfer window, the scum are the only ones who have spent something really and last I heard we weren't even interested in cisse, just coz the mags sign another injury prone striker doesn't mean panic man. MON is no fool and he will not rush in and play stupid prices for players, least you forget we doing pretty well with the players we have even though we do need a defender and a striker I'll admit. so get behind MON and the board because I'm sure he will sign someone

Agree2 Disagree1

2 great strikers who are at the ACON for upto 6 weeks, so for the mean time they got to rely on best, ameobi, lovenkrands not the time to worry about anything

Agree1 Disagree1

Under MON the only games we have lost are away at Totteham & Chelsea. And the latter were unlucky not to come away with something. He is getting the best out of our players. Why start with all this panicking garbage. Lets just put our faith in the manager that the vast majority of us desperately wanted at the SOL. Because if MON doesn't buy it is because he doesn't think the right player is available. Lets face it he wouldn't have come on board if he didn't have money to spend. He would have waited the QPR job to come up like everyone new it would do.

Agree3 Disagree0

Cisse? Injury prone? Haha get your facts right! The dembas are coming for you! *march 3rd*

Agree0 Disagree2

Campbell is average at best.

Agree1 Disagree2

Remember when we left it lte last transfer window we got a heap of s###. we cannot afford to wait till the best players are gone we need to act now campbell coming back means he wont be 100% till next season gonna take him time. plus he was hardley prolific was he . give your head a shake and wake up man. we gonna be laughing stock till the summer.

Agree0 Disagree3

Negative fans like you should go and support the scum coz all they do is twist on about things

Agree2 Disagree0

And we could buy another heap now, just what proven prem players are available?one signing by the geordies, omg.

Agree1 Disagree1

I would like to see whickam given some more game time,he was looking good until he was injured,he might surprise one or two of the doubters!

Agree1 Disagree0

Why are all the Mackems arguing amongst yourselves about a player the Toon have signed who according to the SCUM is rubbish and you's lot didn't want? I say all because the comments are more than likely from those few who go to the ground surrounded by empty seats.

Agree5 Disagree1

Cisse injury prone and as for oneil u be getting zamora for 8 million eskey for 4 million then bendnter for 5 million smb

Agree0 Disagree1

Two richard craniums spouting same boring crack.....shaddup! your embarassing
