Not even half that really, we just sold a few guys for a heap is all. I'm not sure why you think we should be spending billions as we don't have it, can't handle the wage bill & atm are lumbered with three ex managers junk.
It's going to take at least another season or two to get the team sorted (unless we change managers again & it all goes out the window).

it turns out one of the Newcastle supporters killed on the Malaysian airline flight was on his way to watch pre season friendly's, john alder aka the undertaker (because he wore a suit)? has missed only one game home or away since 1973, that's dedication for you.
One Newcastle fan is proposing they all wear suits to their first game a fitting gesture I think would any Sunderland fans agree / disagree with a minutes applause at our first home game for a true supporter of north east football regardless of his colors.
ps my thoughts and condolences are with his family.

I don't think anyone would suggest otherwise. Everyone is gutted and as proud supporters of North East football clubs we have a responsibility to rally round. The 2 men were proper supporters and nothing but admiration for that.
