I have never been as confident for the new season as i am with this one, we have made some great signins and the other teams that were around us in the table last season havn't made any in my oinion, apart from n'zogbia to villa. what do the rest of you think?

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Opinion*

Agree0 Disagree0

Almost onion which would have been real good ha Some of the teams around you beat you in the league too remember so they not bad teams

Agree0 Disagree0

Confident of what? mid table finish again? A lot of teams around you lot were better last year and finished above you so will still be good teams And some have improved and have more settled teams You have 9 players to settle in so take heed

Agree1 Disagree0

Its the same story again. but which is a big word if we had not had all the injuries think we would have been pushing for 6th and definately would have finished closer to 15pts in fron of the sgbs

Agree0 Disagree0

Sad sgb's saying clubs around us are better they forget we finished above them last year and have vastly improved our squad for this season while they sell best players and their club is imploding mad max

Agree0 Disagree0

Your teams worse than last year Not better Henderson played out of his skin and no early season goals from bent this time around Onouha was immense for you and he gone too and then there is no wellbeck either Add up the points they got you and your doomed

Agree0 Disagree0

Too much broon ale mate your being bitter and are biting because you no your club is a mess and it makes you feel better trying to say we are worse. ha you geordies are funny. Now go and cry on your own page SGB

Agree0 Disagree0

Think about what you saying before posting mate. Yeah the players that have left contributed a lot to our season. You seem to be forgetting who yous have let go and how important they were to you Ie carrol and nolan scored more for you than bent did for us before he left. Barton created and scored more than henderson muntari and onouha put together so al think you will find it is you who have lost your most effective players not us. Ftm

Agree1 Disagree0

Wellbeck is probably the only void we have left to fillm sess, wickham and ji will more than cover bents goalsm. When fit oshea and brown are better than onouha and mensah.muntari and zenden were bit part players who were mostly not up to it and larrson gardener and vaughan are better and younger replacements. I would still like us to sign a direct left winger and possibly another striker

Agree1 Disagree0

That was my point You saying we be bad cos our best player have left and i was pointing out that so have yours And max you really shouldnt comment cos your a twit keep repeating the same thing Its not good mate Niether is living with your mam when your about 38 you fool

Agree0 Disagree0

We have just about replaced our players with better players. You havnt come close to replacing carrol nolan. And soon to be barton and enrique and do you honestly believe you will?

Agree0 Disagree0

Cabaye is better than Nolan.

Agree0 Disagree0

No you hope he's better than nolan. Ya been very optimistic if ya think he will be as influential or score half as many goals

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt Cabaye will score more than Nolan. But he is a more complete player. Better playmaker, good at set pieces, good at passing, better on the ball. Maybe not as influential, but he has more to him imo. Of course I'm trying to be as optimistic as possible though.

barton released worth a shout

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Couldn't pay me to have him, he a disgrace to football

Agree3 Disagree0

No way

Agree2 Disagree0

But would be your best midfielder by far

Agree2 Disagree1

Wholeheartedly disagree with the above statement. Looked average in a very poor team. LFC

Agree1 Disagree0

Absolute bulls**t. Barton was one of the best creative midfielders in the league last season. The reason Carroll looked good. 12th Place is not a very poor team, we actually had a pretty decent team for a newly promoted side.

Agree0 Disagree2

For a free think all clubs should be looking at him now its a bidding war for who will pay him highest wages think his on a par with cattermole who we need to get fit and caution free so we can see the best of him will be like a new signing

League table predictions?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

7th or 8th

Agree2 Disagree0

7th is the highest we can hope for every team above that is too strong 7th would be an excellnt finish for us tho

Agree3 Disagree0

7th would be great and I agree with the other lad the best we can get next season

Agree2 Disagree0

Thats what I was thinking. Definatley should be aiming for 7th

Agree2 Disagree0

Wouldn't mind a decent cup run

Agree2 Disagree0

7th in the table and a cup run would do me nicely, if we can manage to sign adam johnson and maybe bellamy or another decent striker i dont see why not

Agree1 Disagree1

Think 7th too rich for SAFC maybe 9th or 10th again You got man utd, man city, arsenal, chelsea, liverpool, spurs, fulham, bolton, everton all better than you at the minute so dont hold your breath And before you start saying how much better than these teams you are check out league standings for last 3 year

Agree0 Disagree1

Man U , Man C, Arsenal, Liverpool, So Spurs would definatley finnish above us? who else? I can see us 4th, 5th or 6th giving a bit of luck on the injury front . Look how many points we dropped last season because of the injuries and no cover? .. I think we should aim as high as we can, I wont forecast, I think we should wait and see.... There could be a great season ahead of us lads .
Cue a sarkey geordie remark.....

Agree1 Disagree2

I'm looking forward to the new season but I'm cautiously optimistic...remember this is SAFC we're talking about lol

Agree0 Disagree1

Between 7th and 10th for you lot. Unless your signings don't work out, then bottom half.

Agree0 Disagree1

What? You can see Sunderland getting 4th, 5th or 6th? And you call the Newcastle fans deluded? 6th at a very big stretch.. but 4th? Get real.

Agree0 Disagree1

4th? You probably even had sunderland fans looking at that thinking why did you just say that... I am a newcastle fan but forgetting that for now you've signed numbers but nobody who right now can improve on your best 11 from last season so i'd be saying mid table again, you aint got a chance of getting infront of man u, chelsea, city, arsenal, spurs and liverpool so thats at least 7th

Agree0 Disagree0

You missed chelsea out or are you gonna finish above them?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a Newcastle fan and I'd disagree in a way. They have signed players who will improve on last years team, in Gardner and Larsson. But they haven't replaced Bent and that is the problem, Bent was a 20 goal a season man.. Nobody they have now is, no matter how much they want Gyan to be.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not many teams could find a striker who scores 20 odd a season like bent. They cost a fortune. However don't think gyan will be too far away from 20 and I believe sess will get 12-15. Gardener got double figures last season and wickham and ji will make a contribution. So on the whole I think we will be better off for scorimg goals next season

Another mag bites the dust, they are going down

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Not even their fans can argue that they wont, i think we shud donate ferdinand to them

Agree1 Disagree0

And angeleri

Agree2 Disagree0

We can throw in nyron aswell

Agree1 Disagree2

I was going to put him aswell but couldn't spell his name

Agree0 Disagree0

Its like nylon but with an "R" lol. As a geordie im guuted about joey but he was too strong for ashley and tyrants dont like that He will make a good signing for someone

Agree0 Disagree1

I meant angeleri

I work at Seaham Hall and Gibson, Hunt and Adam Johnson have just checked in.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Original.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes, and elvis pulled in and booked a room for the night. Please stick to your mag site. or is there nothing happening at the sports direct .com stadium still?

Agree0 Disagree0

Here we go again Seaham hall sightings Half of europe been there this summer

Agree1 Disagree0

I work at Seaham Hall. Haven't seen anyone today, all the nuggets pretending to have seen people are full of s**t and i doubt if they really work here anyway. It sickens me, the lies and fantasies that people make up to brighten up their tedious lives. Anyway.....rant over, must go and hoover Mr Messi's room before he gets here.

Agree1 Disagree0

If i was the manager of Seaham Hall I would sack half of the staff for talking Sh*t*

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok this is no word of a lie, I actually do work at Seaham Hall and Joey Barton has just checked in.

Well, I say checked in he tried to stub his cigar out in my eye and has been turned away. I don't think I like him very much.
