Sure you have done well, think you have over achieved coz you lot would of been happy with a top ten finish like us, but don't under estimate wigan, then you have an in form city, chelsea and everton, still think you will finish 5th or 6th but thats my opinion
Agree0
Disagree0
I dont mind the banter actually find it amusing but the one thing that p****s me off is someone coming on with either the same banter he puts on everyweek or just copies what someone else put on weeks ago. so come back on with something new to talk about the same story is sh**e

Champions League position with four games to go! Are we still 'Lucky now'. SMB
Believable6
Unbelievable1
You have carried some luck like most teams at the top and you know only 2 well how that can change as when you got relegated there was only the top 6 who lost less games but you never had that bit of luck and drew too many games and got relegated enjoy your season and if ye get champions league its because you deserve its over the season that counts but be honest with yourselves there has been quiet a few games this season where you have rode your luck and won but not to sound bitter well done and i like most sunderland fans will look forward to next season
Agree1
Disagree1
That didn't sound bitter at all mate. Nice to see a dignified and eloquent response to some pretty poor baiting :P
Agree1
Disagree0
Fair play to the mags if they get a champs league spot but still want chelsea, spurs and arsenal to finish above them.lol all I'll be happy with is a top ten finish for sunderland after the useless start we had and then look forward to next season and getting our top dog status back off the mags
Agree0
Disagree0
We have also been unlucky as well. We have had bad decisions go against us this season. Think Chelsea at home when they should have had a defender sent off and a stone wall pen turned down, Man U we had a stone wall pen turned down and Fulham away they were given a pen when it should have been a free kick. At the end of the day you make your own luck.
Agree0
Disagree0
Def make ye own luck but like i said you have a good fair share of it this season but ye last six games have been outstanding and you deserve to be where you are just hope what you achieve this season shows the rest of the league and us included that you are capable of mixing it with some of the so called top six

Good win again today but you should be puttting that on ye own page as no one on here gives a toss but if you say ye won 3 0 lucky and then hung on thats what we been saying about you all season but nice to see a sgb come on and tell the truth about ye luck again
Agree2

It was only stoke, we beat them 4-0 at home enough said, who cares we got a good point at villa go on your page and preach about your team loser!
Agree1

It was just a question to see if you thought we were "LUCKY" again? Its funny how you get upset when we come on your page when things are great at the Toon, but like to dish it out when you think things aren't so good. Put your dummy back in. SMB.

A good point at Villa haha. How can you be happy with O'neil negative tactics? All he does is park the bus.
Agree0
Disagree1
Negative did you watch the game, both teams went for the win, sunderland had a goal dissallowed for offside and it wasn't, it was a miles better performance than against wolves at home and we got a point away, so yes am happy with that!

What happened at the sol? Haha smb

a think all these geordies are gettin abit to cocky they have one lucky season and think there champions ha just look at stoke last year they got to europe and this year look now.. thats how it will be for the mags next year. soon as the season is finished ashley will want some more pies and sell your so called quility players lol. pardew thinks hes the next aw but all sink in next year trust me. then yas wont be so cocky and that wat i will put my life on you horrible sgb.

LUCKY YES as it is the truth, luck runs out eventually, I'm sure next season you lot will be midtable at best
Agree3

Pathetic.
you sunderland fans that get on here are really sad.
every team has some luck, to say that it has all been luck makes you look like a right plum and very bitter
Agree6
Disagree1
If we are mid table next season does that make you relegation next season
Agree6

With comments like that(original poster),YOU are a embarrassment to yourself and every Sunderland fan out there. You clearly know nothing about football!
Agree7
Disagree2
The guy who was on about the original poster, sounds like a very bitter geordie pretending to be a mackem, I don't have a problem with what the original poster has said, the geordies are doing well but they have been lucky more than any other team this season and I agree next season I think they will finish lower as ashley will sell some of their top players for high prices and they will struggle to get replacements who will do a good job as they are, their buys have paid off for them but sometimes it can go the other way if they get more players in to replace the ones who will be sold. sunderland next season will be up in the top half as I believe O'Neill will get the right players in and sell the deadwood! SGBS!
Agree1
Disagree6
Same old Sunderland fans. Luck! No team gets to our position on luck alone. Their is no need for our players to leave as they will all be in Europe next season. Our squad will get stronger. However your one good player in sess will leave and the rest will want to leave to the new promoted sides. The very teams you will be battling with to stay in the PL next season. Horrible bitter and jealous SMB.
Agree6
Disagree1
Relegation next season?? O'neill has inherited bruces squad and saved our season with the same players, in the summer he will have money to buy more attacking players, he will have a chance to build his squad that he wants, look at the squads he built at villa and celtic, even leicester, Geordies talking of relegation next season, thats just black n white eyes and bitterness, europe not enough for some players SGB, champs league is what they want and spewcastle won't give them that as arsenal, tottenham and chelsea will finish ahead of them, sess may leave but if we get near 20m for him that would be great business and that would be more money for O'neills summer rebuilding plans, sess only cost us 6m but doesn't matter he is adamant sess will stay. Already heard from my geordie mates that tiote, Ba is off, alot of interest in Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Krul, Colocinni and now Cisse. Ashley got rid of your 2 best midfielders of last season in a week in Barton and Nolan, don't be so sure, if the price is right for him he will sell!!SGBS!!
Agree4
Disagree6
Sold Barton and Nolan, got cabaye and tiote haa
Agree6

You are our local rivals and thats it you will never be our league rivals
Agree4
Disagree1
Didnt all you smb say all our best players would be sold in january.
as for barton and nolan we replaced them with far better players.
the fact is ashley will only sell for stupid money and if the player wants to leave..
as for oneill getting money carnt see it you have over 80% of turn over going on wages.you will have to sell before you can buy,and the only player worth anything is sess, the money from him wont go far...
ALWAYS AND FOREVER IN OUR SHADOW...SMB
Agree5

Newcastle aren't lucky, they've deserved it this season lads and you can't compare them to stoke...stoke are awful! Let's concentrate on ourselves lads!
Agree5
Disagree0
Fortune telling is all the SMB's do. Your players will leave, my geordie mates say this and that Blah blah. Your just jealous. 2nd season back and you are in our shadow again. Your small club standing still with a one tactic manager. The future is black and white. SMB.
Agree4

I think O'neil will def have money to spend or he wouldnt have signed. Im a bit worried about his tactics if im been honest but I guess he is just making do with what he has got. We will see how good he is in the summer.
Agree0
Disagree2
Ashley got rid off barton for free and nolan for 4million then bought tiote for 3.5 think tiote is a better player all round dont you and our midfield this year is better than last so do one person makem down to 10th not joint 10th......your 10th next week could be 12th...mmmm see your improving every year good look with trying to get some decent players who wanna come haha
Agree3
Disagree1
Jealous?? I'm over the moon what O'neill has done with bruces squad, saving us from relegation and making us a top ten team, I was giving my opinion which is allowed and my geordie mates did actually tell me that about some of your players but not jealous as I only support my team and don't care about your arrogant lot!
Agree1
Disagree3
I would be over the moon if I was a Sunderland fan. 2 wins in 11 games. I am sure Sir Bruce had a better record than that. LOL
Agree1

I think that you know sweet fa about ye own club as barton and nolan both played in the same team as tiote last season ye not another one of those who have crawled out the woodwork and only seen newcastle on match of the day sgb

Bitter makems can't face the fact we possibly could be facing barca next season whilst they'll have to sit on a sofa on a Wednesday night watching the toon smashing the best club side ever;)

No first home game was against wimbledon 1987 mirrandina home debut thats how long i,ve been going still have my programme season tickets holder since then inc 70% of away games up until 5 years ago now its homes games only...and yes tiote was there aswell thats why he let them go turns out it was the right decision how well as as nolan and barton done ehhh..by the male i,m a girl...and my hubby,s a makem just like you sad as when it comes to football...smb

Only explaining pet that if you put the post on about barton and nolan along with tiote think first before you write anything as this is a banter page and you will get shot down so toddle off back to ye own page
