Good team playing at the highest level of english football for past 5+years a good history e.g. 6 titles more than most teams in england except man united chelsea arsenal etc

What we dont have 6 titles? well your wrong there look it up newcastle have 4 and your telling me a 49,000 seater stadium isnt big? newcastle's hold like an extra 3,000 and yes we do play the highest level of english football the prem? i bet you feel a tad silly now haha

Theres not many teams do liverpool chelsea man utd arsenal and now maybe man city
Agree2

The difference between the 2 grounds is we fill ours on a regular basis. Sunderland is always empty unless there is a concert.
Agree6
Disagree4
Sounds like the geordie is jealous coz the sports direct arena can't hold concerts coz it's a sh*thole!

Good mate of mine is a black and white season ticket holder for about 22years and even he said sda is a craphole and is goin to fall to bits, came to a reserve game with me last year and even he said the sol was far superior to the sports direct(4th best stadium in north east)tk73

Yh have to agree haven't been to impressed either I hope that most of it is just paper talk and that oneil has something up his sleeve .mAybe we just don't have the money I don't know , but for a club our size surley we need to aim for bigger names
Agree3

I'm just glad that your not the manager mate coz O'neill knows what he is doing and we got to be realistic with transfer targets, no way are we gonna get players like Llorente, Alba ect...
Agree0
Disagree2
Club your size?/ have you seen the stadium on motd it looks nearly half empty........
Agree3
Disagree4
It is only like that for segregation for the away fans who sit behind the goal !they are being moved to a different part of the ground for next season so perhaps you should get youre facts right before posting innacurate comments.
Agree3
Disagree1
Half empty? So sunderland have been getting 24k crowds in the league?when,I am under the impression sunderlands average was around 40k.
Yes 40k because that's such a rubbish crowd so rubbish it is bigger than what Spurs get,Villa getmEverton get all bigger clubs than Newcastle. Also nearly as big as chelsea, liverpool and on three or four fixtures when sunderland sell out it is bigger.
Agree1
Disagree0
It wont next season we have moved the away fans up into the gods like yous lot do
Agree1
Disagree0
Check premier league stats average crowds roughly 37000....thats fact..spurs wouls fill a bigger stadium no doubt about it...........
Agree1
Disagree1
If we gave season tickets away after 8 games for £100 then we would be averaging 47k
Agree1
Disagree0
He said around 40k 37k is around 40k and if teams actually brought away fans as only a few clubs bring more than a few hundred then maybe it would be 40k.
Agree0
Disagree0
If sunderland were giving away tickets like Newcastle do then we would need to erect a new tier.
Agree2
Disagree1
So is 37k a bad crowd? No its a great crowd considering what sunderland have put up with for about 30 Odd years,we havnt had top 4 finishes and been to europe, champions league like newcastle since the formation of the premier league. No we have yo yo'd between divisions and went down with record low points TWICE. What other club could get the crowds we get in the circumstances?NONE.
Agree3
Disagree0
You need to find out true facts...nufc sold about 2000 tickets for £100.....sunderland donate FREE FREE FREE FREE to schools for kids to try and get them there and you still have planty of empty seats.........
Agree3
Disagree3
What were nufc crowds b4 keegan i ask,if i can remember it was around 16-17 thousand till all so called fans jumped on the bandwagon(mainly people from washington and durham who only supported the ne team which were doing better,no loyalty if u sit on the fence!)tk73

2-1 down to win 3-2 decent performance from the lads considering it was half youth players, noble looked sharp when he came on and scored a brilliant goal at the end. Safc93
