In the transfer market we need to
Get 4 defenders
A holding Central midfielder who can pick a pass
A winger
And a striker, preferably a very good one
RB: Azpilicueta (loan)
CB: Diakite
CB: Dawson
LB: Rose
CM: Miguel Veloso or Milner
LM: Mertens or Zhirikov
ST: Bony, Martinez, KieBling, abdellaoue, Weimann, Insigne (any and I would be very happy)

I think we'll spend big!

I agree with a few of them
For the creative midfielder, I would like Sunderland to target Athletico Madrid's Koke, young talent with a great pass

I think everyone will spend big this summer. This summer with so many new managers, new money deal, new rules coming into effect with transfers, Transfer records will be broken, new managers will spend, big players will leave, big money replacements the domino effect.

I think Sunderland will make a signing that will just make people go WOW why on earth has he gone to sunderland, what a signing.

We won't be the only ones either. Summer of crazy transfers and signings.

Agree0 Disagree0

Never really thought about that
But come to think of it, I'd say you've hit the nail on the head
Completely agree

We desperately need skill in the team!. last with season MON and SB we've had too many home grown players you need a mix of pacy skilful foreign players and a few home grown ones!. hopefully Ellis will release some of the vast funds he has!

Agree0 Disagree0

Mertens, kiebling insigne, playing too much fifa

Agree0 Disagree0

Just wait
You'll see big players head our way this summer, mate

PDC will have 25m to spend. 4 will come from sales.

4 will be free transfers and a further 4 he will pay a fee.

He is looking at 2 young South Americans, 1 Croatian, 1 Bosnian and 2 Italians. Also he is looking at 1 scot and an Englishman.

He can not believe the way in which the current squad behave but he has been told it will take 3 transfer windows to complete his jigsaw.

Wow, are you maybe Di Canio`s gardener? Dish washer? He seems to let you know all about his targets. Or maybe you have went ``Rusty`` like your name?

anyone think we should give Ji a chance or sell him on. the lad has done very well for Auisberg scoring 5 in 17 at a club like ourselves who have struggled in their top flight the figures seem better than what some of our players have achieved this season. myself I think it would be wise for PDC to have a look at the lad I can remember the skunks buying Jon Dahl Tomasson and having to play him as a lone man up front which didn't work and we all know how well he did when he went to Italy. Ji has been playing out wide in Germany a position we didn't use the lad on maybe down to MON infatuation with Mclean and the arrival of Johnson but it could well be worth giving the lad a chance in the wide roll.

I think he is a good player but needs more strength for the premier league

everyone saying swap mig for cavani we have no chance but I would't anyway mig has been the BEST keeper in prem this season made more saves then any other keeper and has saved sunderland arse more times then I can count. we need a good striker but swapping for mig would been silly. we have flech wickham ji. not going to mention graham. all we need it a striker with pace hu can find the net

Believable0 Unbelievable0

OHHHHHHH
For god sake, can we stop banging on about Cavani, it was weeks ago when all this came about, we all knew it wouldn't happen and we all joked about it
So let's just leave it and actually talk about something which is worth talking about

Gordon Taylor and Clarke Carlisle are a disgrace to football - they are trying to defend Bardsley and Kilgallon who broke the Clubs curfew, others who declared themselves injured or sick, others who were late and others who decided not to sign some shirts for us fans! It's a pity Taylor and Carlisle weren't as vociferous when Suarez was up to no good and many, many others have been misbehaving. They are fence sitters until an easy target comes along like DICANIO who is different and who demands professionalism. We need to support DICANIO to rid ourselves of habitual underperformance delivered by sub standard players and inept managers who the likes of Taylor and Carlisle love because they are all mates. ONeill would have taken us down of that there is no doubt as would Bruce, Keane and all the others. We have to trust Mr Short who is a top business man and trust DICANIO - here endeth today's lesson. Well said. I remember reading somewhere that wenger fines players all the time for things such as 5 mins late for training and litter and no one mentions it. Safc93

Agree with that both Killa and Bards have thrown their dummies out the pram. people are on the street can't afford to pay their fuel bill or have food and these parisites call them selves footballers overpaid and out of touch. transfer them!

Agree0 Disagree0

It just makes me laugh, fergie kicks a boot in beckham's face, mancini has to be dragged off balotelli but the pfa make a bigger deal of di canio fining a player. Fools

Agree0 Disagree0

Its bad enough they act in a way that results in them being fined. But then to go running to the PFA about the fine. gutless. overpaid, self important, time to go.
