At the end of last season if someone told me we would have Fletcher, Graham, Johnson and Sess playing for us I would have bin buzzing. Really don't think its the players fault I think its more to do with the negative tactics O'Neill seems to favour. Larrson is not a CM by any stretch so why he perservers with him there is beyond me. The only time we have looked good lately is after we are 1 or 2 down. I'd rather us adapt the we are going to score more goals than you attitude than the boring sit back and try and nick one on the counter crap we are playing at the minute.

Look, sessegnon is starting to get at his peak. Yes he provides flair and he's a very key player for you. Graham, got goals for swansea because of how swansea play. Swansea are just a passing philosophy team, and the goals only come out of the strikers. Graham is not a target man, as all o'neills tactics are, is get 10 men behind the ball and hoof it and hope for a crumb on the break. Graham has poor control and struggles to bring the ball down. Fletcher, good striker, but not a complete one. Can control the ball well but his first touch always let's him down. Gardner is your best CM, but he himself isn't the best. O'neill should stick with 5 in the midfield, because that's the only way you're going to dominate games, because west brom ran you ragged in the central midfield yesterday

Worst Centre Back pairing in the premier league would come from the North-East. Imagine Titus Bramble and Mike Williamson at the heart of your defence. Even Middlesbrough would have a field day against those two and they're useless!

Just not good enough again. No quality anywhere on the pitch- or in the dugout. A poor team, and a poor manager. If we survive the season, O'Neill can follow Titus Bumble out of the door. The team reflects the manager- and neither is earning their pay!

Agree, that was absolute rubbish. Most of our players are getting 1 Million plus a year, Mon probably 2 Million, but you can bet they will come up with the most pathetic excuses to Sunderland fans. Ellis Short must be tearing his hair out. My message to him is these players will never be good enough for our club and I don't think Mon is either. How long will this go on before Sunderland fans will wake up to the rubbish this man is stuffing down our throat.

No! Just no! You have to have very good quality to play 442! You need good central midfield and yours is probs not even mid table! Nearly every team in the prem play with 1 striker. that's where west brom get so much success! If you played 442 against west brom you'd of been hammered. Stick with 5 in the midfield. It's o'neils tactics and you're squad where you're going wrong.

just watched first half and iwas all for 2 up front but we are not strong enough to cope witout that extra man in midfield to help out at back. hope 2 half proves me wrong. come on lads. safc 79

got us to get beat today in me super 6 2-1 hope it don't come true, westbrom have hit a sticky patch but our record down there isn't good if oneil goes with 442 we will have a better chance but think he will go 451 haway the lads safc4life
