Apparently we are chasing snodgrass from Norwich. Good player but hardly one to light up the stadium. Any views?

I personally would like to see Scott Sinclair and Jack Rodwell brought in? Also see how much Mich Richards would cost in transfer fee and wages. Wasted English talent which would fit straight into our side.

Just read that Ellis Short has released the funds to make a game changing signing that will take Sunderland to the next level, I wonder who that could be? My moneys on Messi ;)
Actually I reckon it is Cavani. he's Uruguayan, he would certainly be a game changer. PSG only play him on the wing because of Zlatan, it would definatly be a challenge for him. Well. I can dream can't I? Ha

The next level is actually top ten, so should not cost too much if Poyet gets the right ones. Priority is still a left back, then a consistent goal scorer. Moses would be a good loan, but need to be careful as loans from Premier clubs are limited, I think to two.

Ed 002, who would you love to see in a Sunderland shirt (if you're a fan of SAFC). I would love to see Jordi Clasie and Ever Banega along with Cattermole in midfield, would like to think that was realistic
{Ed024's Note - If we are keeping it realistic - then Borini would be an obvious answer, a centre half - one or two from Williams, Caulker or Richards would do nicely. I'd also do all I could do get Ki - when he was fit he had some great games really dictating the play from midfield. At the unrealistic end of things - if I could have any player it would be Toure - and I'd make sure I wished him happy birthday !!}

I would definatly be happy with those defenders and Ki but I don't think Borini wants to come back up here, he's stated a few times he wants to fight for his place at Liverpool. wouldn't mind Mutch either, he did seem to be the stand out player for Cardiff when I watched them play
Leroy Fer looked good last season for Norwich in central midfield and scored a good header for Holland today. He was likened to Patrick Viera when he was younger. I think he matches the Poyet profile and to me looks a bit similar to Ki but maybe stronger.
