Newcastle 8th in the premier league all time league table. boro sit 13th. But I'm glad to report Sunderland a club with such arrogance at this time in the "MoN Era" sit a depressing 17th.
bigger club than newcastle,dream on..

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Smoggies are bigger lmfao......nufc also in top 10 value you for money due to entertainment on the pitch.....

Agree4 Disagree5

OBSEESED MUCH! SGBS! Doesn't these comments just prove how childish and sad these geordies are, arrogance?? who said they will def be in the champs league? and I suppose next season you will say you will win the league? any fans are arrogant its spewcastle fans!

Agree6 Disagree3

Obsessed....

Agree1 Disagree5

Thats what I meant, alcohol what can I say!lol

Agree0 Disagree0

But you lot said your team of old timers would finish above us also you would get Europe where did you finish bottom half! Fact!

Agree1 Disagree1

Obsessed? we call it banter, like the page suggests. Funny how the table have turned since your poor season. Stick that dummy back in. SMB

Agree2 Disagree2

After the start under bruce I'd say it was a successful season as we didn't get relegated SGB

Agree1 Disagree1

Yes it's a banter page so post some good banter ffs ! Instead of commenting on EVERY post with your stale crack

Agree1 Disagree0

So your saying you,ve had a succesfull seasons as you never got relegated.....i can see your aiming high then.was sure you said who would be us.....

Agree2 Disagree2

Do you even read properly SGB? I said after Bruces start yes staying up was priority, any team that had 11 points after 14 games and their team was low on confidence and struggling would say yes avoiding relegation was priority your a deluded clown if you think otherwise. yes we thought the signings we made would of took us higher but bruce lots the players and the fans, next season will be different I fancy O'neill to at least get us a top ten position!

Agree3 Disagree1

1 stop forward 3 back...............

Agree0 Disagree1

Don't you mean no steps forward and no steps back as we did what we did the season before, Watch us go next season SGB!

Agree4 Disagree4

Did u not finish in top 10 last season and 13th this season so the way i add up thats backwards....

Agree4 Disagree1

Yeah but we won nothing and still in the premiership, all we have done different is finish 3 places lower, so have lost out on an extra million quid which is not the end of the world it could of been worse and we could of been in a relegation scrap all season so as I said not exactly 3 steps back, now next season will be O'neills 1st full season and there is big changes happening in sunderland with the club and team so think it's the start of something good for us! disagree if you want but that just shows that you geordies have black and white eyes I think the term is

Agree0 Disagree0

We'll watch you go, straight into the championship after MoN feels the pressure and drops you lot right in it like he's done at EVERY team he's ever been at, little huffy dummy spitter. May the memories of Secret Agent Bruce forever remain. Lots of love, One Very Happy SGB.

Agree0 Disagree1

He left villa after winning a cup with villa getting them into another final of a cup and had three seasons finishing 6th, celtic he left them after winning loads of cups and league championships, leicester won a cup with them and had them as a top ten team, so left teams in good positions, he only left celtic coz his wife was ill, he left villa coz players were sold behind his back, he left leicester as he wanted a new challenge, shows how sad your comment is SGB, Remind me what has pardew done or won?? exactly nowt!! Lots of love a very smug SMB!!

Agree3 Disagree0

How many clubs has Pardew relegated? At least two as a manager that I can think of ! Maybe third time lucky with the mags next season eh?. Fingers crossed , heres hoping!

Agree2 Disagree0

Lets face it nobody wants the toon or sunderland relegated because of the derby days, so stop goin on like little 5 year olds n have decent banter
geordie chris

Agree2 Disagree0

Get some money on mon to walk before season has started, even better do the double with sunderland going down..

Agree2 Disagree4

Yes and where are villa now? where are leicster? and as for Celtic... I could win league titles for them if I was manager, SPL is 2 team.

Agree0 Disagree1

Celtic done something in europe which will never be achieved again mate if ye know ye history

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic just lost the uefa cup final 3-2 under O'neill they came to man utd and won 3-4 twice I think it was, Strachan couldn't do what O'neill did, lennon can't. So where all 3 of them teams are now just shows how good O'neill was, none of them teams are what they were, now hopefully he will turn sunderland into a team that will start winning things and making us a top 6 side

Agree0 Disagree0

Why did they do? win it? thought not

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic won the european cup with a team that were all born within a 20 miles radius of parkhead dont think that will ever happen again. another thing it was nice to see charlton win their league and on the day they actually won it fielded a team of 11 englishmen something that most probably happen again

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry I thought the Europa league was rubbish? so if I'm right, the Uefa cup isn't an achievement makems? and didn't Celtic win a european trophy in the 60's or something? oneil had nothin to do with that...

Agree0 Disagree0

Fact is o'neill is a far better manager than Pardew. End of story.

I think we need a desperate cleanup.
Get rid of the old United rejects that have been a letdown, fill the side with younger, more technically gifted players. Don't think we'll be able to hold on to sess so use the money from his transfer to sign some fresh talent. Spend wisely instead of splashing out money on players who have had one good season (eg Henderson to Liverpool) what a waste

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Getting rid of the `` united rejects `` easier said then done. Remember we put them on 5 year deals at 60 grand a week!!!! Who in their right mind would take them off our hands aqnd they will sit their contracts out. Big drain on resorces plus plenty of dead wood to get rid of. Nope,i think we will spend very little unless we can find some nuggets to take our flops.

Agree1 Disagree1

Isn't our wage cap £50,000 a week so where do you get £60,000 from? and O'shea and Brown have done ok not like they have played bad at all!

Agree4 Disagree0

Yeah I thought they where on 4 year deals worth 50k, still a big gamble. Both of them fit are good players just both prone to injury. They will also help the younger players progress

Agree1 Disagree1

5 year contracts as thats what bruce said when he signed them....and i believe they are on 60k a week

Agree7 Disagree3

Oshea doin ok brown too injury prone. Cant afford younger classier more gifted players as the only ones out there are at big. Clubs on high wages

Agree0 Disagree0

I honestly feel we only need a hand full of players to bolster the squad for next season. Obviously this depends on how many go before the start of the next campaign.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hugely doubt they would be on £50,000 a week when Bent and Gyan only got £30000

Agree1 Disagree0

Bent was not on 30k a week and if you think that your are really deluded...spurs have a wage cap yes but no way harry paid him less than that aswell....

Agree0 Disagree0

Modric was only on 30k till chelsea came sniffing now his on 70k which is not a lot for one of the premierships top players wages always seem to get exagerated on here
