Sess is going back to france 10m

Believable0 Unbelievable0

£10 million? Not a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes valued at £8 million by the club that's ridiculous. i'd sell him but not a penny less than £15 million worth that!

Agree0 Disagree0

His nearly 30 so we would do well to get 8 mill

Agree0 Disagree0

He's been very inconsistent last season. £8M i'd be pleased with.

Agree0 Disagree0

We looking at fast young players sess ain't fast

Loric Cana on his way back!

Jonjo Shelvy coming as part of the Migs deal

Garry Hooper signing next friday

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wouldn't be too bad that like

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I hope its £ 9million +Shelvey

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont want either, Cana or shelvey. Cana is just as bad as cattermole and surely we can do better than shelvey.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mag alert.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think shelvey is class

7SAFC7

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm no mag, and if you think shelvey's class you want your head looking at, he was on loan at Blackpool about his level, we can get better be honest, as for cana his discipline was as bad as cattermole's and soon as a better offer came in he was off.

Agree0 Disagree0

Shelvey is a goal scoring CM replacement for Gardner

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Whicham £2million? your joking Short wouldn't lose £6 million on him. he'd be better off staying here!

Agree0 Disagree0

If we sell all those players and rely on all new foreign players we will be deep in the sh**e look what happened to the skunks last season this could be an elm street waiting to happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant understand why anyone would like to see wickham sold, he will be class in a few years, hope pdc keeps him and plays him, future england no9.

Agree0 Disagree0

Vaughan is rumoured to be going for £1m.

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance of playing for England mate what a waste of money he has been

Agree0 Disagree0

He just hasn't had the chance mate, he needs to play regular, 5 mins here and there is no good

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok saying he needs to play regular but who you going to drop to give him a game best thing would be to loan him out or sell him on

Well done to our Ghanaian partners on winning the title for the 22nd time.

Im hoping someone can explain this to me.

I read this page at work during my lunch break, and very good fun it is too. I can access every other club page on the site appart from Newcastle's, but as soon as I try to open their page it gets blocked by the IT department and I get a 'content prohibited' message on my screen (this is completely true). What are they writing on the Newcastle page that's upsetting the IT police?

Back to work now, I wonder how many more players we will be linked with by the time I open my sandwiches tomorrow.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I can get on their fine

Anyone that thinks PDC doesn't know what he's doing knows nothing about football in my eyes he's doing everything right just need one or 2 experienced players in on top of them players he's bringing in and we will finish top half of the table. Craigsafc

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He is a rubbish league 1 Manager that will turn Sunderland into Gitmo after you start losing games.

He does not know how to change losing ways around, that is why he gets angry and bullies the players.

The players will start performing even worse.

Agree0 Disagree0

He doesn't know how to change he came in and saved us from sure relegation so a think your talking out your backside there mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

No, he's a winner. Driven to succeed. He will surround himself with players with wonderful work and personal ethics - attributes which matter most to him. His team will play fast, flowing football and will be one of the fittest in the league next season.
Sorry to disappoint you!

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know, he's enforcing discipline on the players, which wouldn't be out of place at any team in almost any league outside of England, it's insane what they get away with here that anywhere else they'd be nailed to the wall and given the hairdryer treatment then a side order of football boot off the head.

Agree0 Disagree0

That was just the Honeymoon period.

PDC came in and was like a ray of light for the first few games.

The players didn't know him then.

He has already said that anyone coming back from the summer break that has put on weight will be fined, and he won't stop there.

PDC is going to run Sunderland like a Gulag, and the players will not respond to it.

Players will be tired and exhausted, you will get injuries, squad infighting, complaints, transfer requests. you name it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry, incoming players will be hand picked to fit in with his ethos and will respond well to him; the existing retained staff will have been retained with this new ethos of self discipline in mind (hence possibly no place for Catts and Sess).
The doomsday scenario you describe is what happens at a club in turmoil who undermine a manager by a employing a buffoon as Director of Football - in fact a club just like yours!

Agree0 Disagree0

No sorry to dissapoint you but PDC hasn't won anything major as a manager, therefore he cannot be a winner yet. You played counter attacking hoof ball last season with di canio and will do the same again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with 2nd and 5th post!

Agree0 Disagree0

Its easier to keep clear of injuries when fully fit PDC will have them 120% fit, he has set his stall out with discipline so any one signing and also players who stay know what to expect, if some players don't like it then they should leave, but your wrong in what you say, most players have have took this on board as you will see next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

By the looks of there are not going to be many left to fine. They are all moving on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Really good to see the Geordies rattled by Di Canio. We won't recognise the Sunderland team that starts next season, not just in terms of personnel but also their attitude and fitness levels.

Agree0 Disagree0

The foreign players are used to all of this big alf said it is normal for him

Agree0 Disagree0

How are we rattled by di canio, we're just laughing at the fact that mr short was so stupid to appoint a league one manager! {Ed024's Note - He could have appointed a loud mouthed fat bloke, who cant pronounce the names of his players and with a history of relegating clubs ..........}

Agree0 Disagree0

'HOW ARE WE RATTLED BY DI CANIO'?

Cos he slid down your touch line on his knees - you hated that - now you don't know what's going to happen next.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know a lot of Sunderland fans who also hated that slide. PDC is an attention wh*re who'd rather soak up the plaudits than let his players have any glory

Agree0 Disagree0

I fuc*ing loved the slide, rubbed it in ya face, just that little bit more

Agree0 Disagree0

There was nearly 3,000 sunderland fans at sid james who were ecstatic not just by the result but the celebrations of pdc and although he has only been in the premiership for a couple of months they have come along like a breath of fresh air. so don't worry about pdc and sunderland take a long hard look at the plight of your own club its in another fine mess

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 19:23:17
Ed what do you think the sunderland starting line up will be start of the season? {Ed024's Note - Best Guess - Westwood, Orban, Oshea, Diakite, Cavanda, Duncan, Johnson, N'diaye, Guilavogui, Fletcher, Guidetti.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I would be happy with that team

Agree0 Disagree0

So would I!. a new chapter!

Agree0 Disagree0

What an inexperienced prem team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Swap guidetti with altidore or hernandez

Agree0 Disagree0

Hernandez def though I think his price has just hot up

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2013 09:38:09
i carnt wait to see sess go he is the most inconsistant player in the prem, yes when he plays well he is class but he will only play well for mabye 3 games of the season I would take 10 million any day actully I would hold his hand all the way to china for that much

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sess has been one of the best players technically and amazing to watch at times! Sorry to see him go, let us not slag him off! But the inconsistancy is for all to see! Good luck Sess but better luck to the Cats this season!

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant believe how critical people are being of him. yes last season wasn't his best but the season before he carried us nearly all season. Safc93

Agree0 Disagree0

Sess HAS been good for us and good luck to him!. itll give the manager funds to get Duncan who is highly rated!

Agree0 Disagree0

how many of our other players actually performed well under mon it was there for everyone to see once pdc came in sess game lifted I for one will be gutted to see him go as I think under pdc we could see the real sess

Agree0 Disagree0

No need to slag sess off. He has been good for us. Please don't forget when he annihilated the skunks.
