anybody else think its strange that our squad numbers dont have a number 1 3 or 4?
i know the left back problem and maybe MON wants another quality centerback like Dawson but no number 1? does the like number 22 for some reason?

I am fairly confident Defoe will not sign for us as O'neill will want to play only one striker with an attacking midfielder (sessegnon or possibly dempsey) just behind. O'neill has made it fairly obvious that that one striker will be Steven Fletcher as he can hold up the ball well and be a good target man. Defoe will not leave tottenham to get first team football just to be used as an impact sub at sunderland
