Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sunderland wouldn't go for him

Agree0 Disagree0

Why not, I would like him
Can pick a pass, would prefer Milner though

Agree0 Disagree0

As if Sunderland are going to get a player like Siem De Jong.

Give yer head a shake man.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stand as much of a chance than the Geordie tatie

Agree0 Disagree0

Pretty sure you lit were linked to him in January??

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle have been linked with him but sunderland haven't.

Ok
Iv had a bit of spare time on my hands today, and iv been watching a few of Villa's games, (Weimann in particular) and I have to say, he is the sort of player we desperately need, young, quick, good dribbler, good vision and can score goals

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The firs things we need to do now is
Tie Migs down with new contract
Get Rose, people don't think he's worth 9m but I think he is, he is 22, future England Left Back, Won 92% of the tackles he attempted!
Just as good going forward as he is defensively.
Now someone please tell me, how he isn't worth 9m, because I can't figure out for the life if me why he isn't

Agree0 Disagree0

Id pay up tp £10 million for him. bargain!

Agree0 Disagree0

They want 9m
Ellis give me the money and bit*ch I'll run down to London

Di Canio wants the team to play more free flowing football and to be more exciting and dangerous, attack teams defences all season rather than to play defensively in 30 games of the 38 to play
Di Canio is expected to recruit players from Italy and Portugal so he is capable to design a team capable of playing what he terms "A clear identity"
With the odd addition from the BPL and Bundesliga, (Weimann)
He is also determined to keep a hold of Sunderland's best players, (Mignolet, Sessegnon), to help strive to achieve BIG things at Sunderland

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Heres hoping

Agree0 Disagree0

You will get picked off playing that kind of football next season.

You and Hull are going to be the whipping boys.

At least Crystal Palace look compact, something you had going under MON.

Agree0 Disagree0

What like Newcastle this year and ended up playing hoof ball to save them. mabies that's why they are looking for a ba type player. free flowing hoof ball next season for the mags. then down tosser

Agree0 Disagree0

No no no no
All you got is a bunch of frenchies who are scared of the premiership

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah and the geordies set the league alight with solid defensive displays and free scoring didn't they. safc93

Agree0 Disagree0

Compact! that won't include you lot then will it, what a joke, how many you lot concede, even worse when collo jumps ship!

What's the latest on Mignolet
We need to double his wages, this might happen as Di Canio has expressed his desire to keep the top players

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Double his wages, and you will not have enough in the kitty to pay Rose wages, not that you can afford his transfer fee anyway.

Adam Johnson is already whaling on your budget as it is.

Agree0 Disagree0

For the last time!
The owner has agreed with Di Canio that he will give him whatever budget he wants

Celtic linked with 2m move to Celtic

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Post it again mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

You mean mclean hopefully

Agree0 Disagree0

Sh*t
McClean is linked with a 2m move to Celtic

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi it is mclean that celtic want for 2m I would tell them give u mclean plus 3m for hooper.

Agree0 Disagree0

McClean had a great season last year, he's had a sh*te season this year
I think we should send him out on loan, and if he doesn't impress on loan, we should definitely sell him

Agree0 Disagree0

Should take the money. So one footed, every team in prem has him worked out. Big on heart, small on quality!

Agree0 Disagree0

McClean fits the Celtic bill perfectly.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Think he will sign a new deal though

Does anyone know how much money Di Canio is going to spend in the summer
It needs to be more than 35m for us to properly progress in the league
(The 50m for Cavani must mean he'll get a lot)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sunderland never enquired about cavani, its all rubbish created from a silly little rumour like rooney to newcastle. short has money but he only spends like 30m max

Agree0 Disagree0

There'll be a few bosmans, a couple from the lower league's, and a couple of top signings, but nowhere near the likes of cavani, only on your fifa team! if that rumour was to get peoples attention, it surely worked! We won't spend money like that, full stop.

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly 3rd post. I can only see sunderland getting max 2 top players (diakite and someone else) di canio will get a lot of championship quality players who are young and go for experienced players on the cheap like roberge etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh yea I know we won't get players like Cavani
I'm saying the idea of looking at Cavani must mean we have a bit if money lying about

If our fears do come true and our beloved Mignolet does leave for Arsenal
Would we use Westwood or would we buy a new keeper

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Keep Westwood and sign Rose with the money!

Agree0 Disagree0

How about
Keep Migs and buy Rose!!

well the mignolet rumours in the press will go to show how much ambition the club has. if we are going to improve over the coming years we need to keep hold of mignolet and any other young players breaking through the ranks. we can't compete money wise at the moment with the so called top six but if we are to make in roads then we have to keep players and not become a feeder club.

as for a few posts about di canio leaving and other managers coming in they are way off the mark. short is 100% behind di canio and hopefully some of the positions he needs to fill will be done in the summer.

Several reports suggesting Weimann is a potential target. Hard to understand how anyone who witnessed the display at Villa could be induced to join, so I suspect it is just wishful thinking.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He fits in with the type of players we want, young and bring out gems. Plus h scores

Di Canio, Ellis Short
Don't be utter tw*ts, give Mignolet a new deal, double his money, do anything to make him stay
We sell our best player for 10m, WHO IS A GOALKEEPER!, we will be relegated for sure next season

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Mignolet is a top goalkeeper and he'd bite your hand off to go to arsenal. He deserves CL

Agree0 Disagree0

He has said he isn't looking for a move away, his agent also backed this up
Promising signs!

Agree0 Disagree0

I bet you anything he will go to arsenal if they come in.
