I don't want Dempsey ,why I hear you say well....just look how he has treated fulham with no respect what so ever do we need someone like this at Sunderland he would be another gyan ,besides which hewants wants to go Liverpool

Id take him in a flash so your telling me if you where at a tiny club like fulham for 7 years you wouldnt want out id get sick me

What makes you think Blunderland's a bigger club than Fulham.....they've played in europe more than you lot and fill there ground.....he might not want to play in front of rows and rows of empty red seats at the riverside lookalike sos

The Stadium Of Light is an all-seater football stadium in Sunderland, England. With space for 49,000 spectators, the Stadium of Light has the fifth-largest capacity of any English football stadium. The stadium primarily hosts Sunderland A.F.C. matches. The name Stadium of Light is a tribute to the traditional mining industry, which brought prosperity to the town; a Davy lamp monument stands at the entrance.

Notice how Sunderland fans are starting to creep back into the pubs..... season 2011-2012 your average was 39,095..... getting lower all the time.......small club playing in a ground thats to big for you....

Still we are 7th in the attendance league and unlike some of the clubs we actually own our ground out right. Which as owners means we are not paying profits from the attendance to the councils. I believe Liverpool dont own theres and newcastle certainly dont.

Your attendance was low for your first european game,47 fans lol and you have the nerve to call our attendances. Btw the original poster strikes me as being very jealous and bitter, possibly because we are being more active in the transfer market and Newcastle are doing nowt. We won't be signing another top striker as O'neill will only be playing one out and out striker and the likes of Defoe and Berbatov won't move to sit on the bench behind Fletcher

Berbatov would be the 1st name on the sheet, NO WAY fletcher is better than him!

Hi ed any more news with dempsey {Ed052's Note - Rumours persist about him coming to Sunderland. However, he has been for a long time close to moving to Liverpool. I expect him to move to Liverpool. Hopwever, it could depend on sales if he goes to Liverpool. }
