Another world class player? What to go along with Flecther...World class is a very very bold statement when the likes of Messi, Xavi, Ronaldo and such like are in that bracket. Give your head a shake.

Why don't we just let the Manager get the players he is after and the players that want to play for him and safc, and give the younger players a chance to come through. The only way to progress is build a team and be patient, this will secure the clubs position in the premier league and give us a chance to build a team which will challenge top 8 and for domestic cups. which is more than we have ever achieved a legacy is better than a false dawn.

To tell the truth im quite happy with who weve got,i know we could do with a lb but colback is fine by me,he could turn that place into his own,as for other players coming, great if they do not bothered if we dont,in mon i trust.tk73

Keep hearing rumours Charlie Adam to Sunderland. Anyone know if theres any truth in them? {Ed052's Note - I wouldn't think so. Everton or Fulham are the most likely options for him}

2 million for Richardson might seem cheap, but take his wages and the fact he wants to go, means 4 million saved if he left at end of season for free, I will trust MON to have a replacement or is happy to use squad.

Adam Johnson says his debut was just like being back at home. He stated that when he played for Boro at the Riverside there was also rows of empty pink seats too.

Pretty pathetic that you can only attack us on attendance. 47 fans away says it all. Safc93

47 fans on a Thursday night in Greece for a qualifier is a good effort. Esecially in the current climate. Remind me of your last attendance in Europe??? Also why can you never fill your ground when it is walking distance for most of you unwashed?
Agree5

Even better in the top 6 and could only get 40k at home until big mike gave season tickets away for £100

Like you have current climate is why some people can't make games

Sunderland had the highest gate in the cup last night just under 23k against morcombe ain't bad,go on the villa site and slate their 15k or stokes and slate their 9k. Sunderland also took over a thousand to south korea for a friendly yet you take under 50 lol 50 fans for a european match in greece a cheap debt ridden country you can buy a hotel their for about a hundred euros never mind spend the night in one.

Those mags were probably all on holiday there to start with!

I agree Colback does a good job at left back but his vision is what we need in midfield.
Believable1

Keep Colback as left back I say, we have plenty of quality midfielders now.

I think we need a cm colback a class lb imo
Say wahat ya want
Believable2
Unbelievable2
We need a better LB than colback I agree, but I think colback is a better LB than richardson as he can tackle and pass and until a LB MON wants comes available, I like colback in team, so if injuries or suspensions come into play we can shuffle the team use him in midfield fully fit and aware of system.

Well I think we need someone to play off him. Not sess
Believable0
Unbelievable1
Is this based on watching them play together for the first time in a competative match. Sess is the best player in our squad. What do you suggest we do with him?

Dempsey odds are now 21/20 Liverpool now odds on, Defoe now 8/13 but I don't care if we sign them or not we don't need a LB while we have Colback remember when he was LB in our victory over Man City last season

Odds mean nothing. Simply a ploy by bookies for people to put money on it.

Before any mags jump in I know Dempsey and Defoe are strikers.

Do you think we should play jack colback as our new left back every time he plays in that position he play outstanding(princ£y)
Believable4
Unbelievable5
No, he'd be torn apart in the prem!
Agree4

He was not torn apart when he was LB when we beat Man City at home last season and other times he played LB I think this could have been in MON mind the whole time
