i noticed i got a few replys to my question about he derby so now iam going to ask why do the sunderland fans think it will be quite a comfortable win? now please remember that in derby games everything goes out the window. it never matters how strong or how weak a team is. last season for example... aston villa ( a difficult team to beat at home) but wolves beat them 1-0 thanks to matt jarvis. Our darby for another example yous thought the score wud of been 5-1 to yous. its impossible to predict so think of that when u reply cos they r goin to be close games there aint going to be any 3-0 or 4-1 or anything like that. the derbies will both be settled by the odd goal unless one team is in good form in the second game so realistically what does yas think

It was well know that Sunderland were chasing the winger before he signed for City. We almost got him too according to Chairman Sir Niall Quinn only for City to come in with a silly money deal at the last minute.
Now if rumours are true Johnson is on his way to another club, with reports that Sunderland could provide a loan deal, where as Chelsea want him on a permanent deal and offer Champions League football.

It is obvious that e is not going to feature at mc. He is not the type of player to sit out his contract, he has a lot to prove.
That does not leave him with a lot of options or MC. A loan deal is my bet, wherever he goes.

Zog has signed for villa but i bet there is still some of you lot who think you still in with a chance of getting him What happened when some of you seen him at seaham hall? ha

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What happened to him going to the Looons?

Agree0 Disagree0

Both Sunderland and Newcastle were interested in him. SB said he was too expensive. Newcastle couldnt have afforded his taxi fare from the airport.

Agree1 Disagree0

Toon pulled out long before you lot cos they got the financial info on him first and so we knew the deal was too rich were you lot seemed to hang on and try to haggle like we doing

Agree0 Disagree0

Bulls**t, we could afford his taxi fare.. Mike Ashley just wouldn't pay it.

Well i think Brucie will leave the players out of the Derby game who Froze like Rabbits in car headlights, that means the WHOLE squad of players involved last year. You could see the fear in the eyes of Bardsley, Cattemole, Gyan and that overated flopper Henderson. This year expect to see Brown and O Shea play for experience although at their age and at the end of their careers, they will get their legs run off them. SMB SMB

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Yeah you must have the gift of forsight predicting that henderson won't be playing What a genius

Agree1 Disagree0

I believe four of your six goals were scored by nolan. where is he? gone oh dear shoala up front? doesnt worry me. the ball will be in your box most of the game anyway madmax

Agree1 Disagree0

Did you write bright eyes sgb another year on and new players new result 3 0 sunderland

Agree0 Disagree0

4 of the 6 goals by nolan? is that over both games or what? Players come and go and they get replaced so whilst nolan will be missed in the box we could have another player who will take his mantle Plus ameobi always scores against you lot

Agree0 Disagree0

Whole new team nearly for you mugs And your going on about taking time to gel ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Henderson gone muppet, wonder who will flop more from the 3 frenchies

Agree0 Disagree0

We firstly Ameobi has scored six goals against us in recent years so for one I am wary of him because if he only scores twice this next season then be sure it will be against us.
What happened last season has been and gone and was basically just a freak result.I do hope though during the next three weeks leading into the game the Mags really start to believe they will repeat last season against us because we all know what complacency leads to............

Agree0 Disagree0

Shola doesn't worry you? Thats why he scores in pretty much every derby. The guy is like a heat seeker against you losers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pretty low if you rely on ameobi

Agree0 Disagree0

It annoys me how just if a player came from a french league everyone thinks there rubbish? some of the best palyers have come from the french league Nasri, Benzema etc
Cabaye was a target for aresnal and spurs, marveaux was a target for man utd and liverpool. and with haris vuckic coming threw he might cause a threat, he was wanted by man utd, inter, real madrid and chelsea so he must have talent. i know he didnt come from a french league but he came threw a not very good league

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't "rely" on Shola. But if you have a player who always seems to score in derby games, you play him. Common sense.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah right they all turned down champions league football at our top four teams cos they prefered a relegation battle at newcastle. what planet you on bud madmax

Agree0 Disagree0

"He was wanted by" doesn't mean they made bids you clown. Teams often show interest but you can't turn them down if they don't make a bid can you? Christs sake.

Agree0 Disagree0

Look it up, its true

As a season ticket holder for 20 years, I'm pleased that we have got more depth and even strength this year especially considering the depth we once had under Keane was poor The one issue I have is that I believe we desperately need 1 or 2 top signings to get everyone talking Anyone got any genuine rumours?

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Keep the faith nothing specific but think last few days could be interesting, remember Gyan didn't come till late defo think left sided player will come in prob on loan Jonson? may be.

Agree1 Disagree0

How many times? come on its getting old now You or nobody else getting johnson He staying at city Delusions i think and you call the geordies daft

Agree0 Disagree0

Not at the moment but one day johnson will sign for his boyhood club

Agree0 Disagree0

The fact is, Johnson is on stupid money at City, because that is how City have attracted players, throw cash at them. He wouldn't take a massive cut to sign for Sunderland.

Agree0 Disagree1

He has no future at City.
A loan deal would be good business for all concerned.

Agree0 Disagree0

Check out johnsons interview with goal.com he clearly states he is from a family of SAFC supporters but he himself is a toon supporter Boyhood club would be boro then cos he come thru their ranks

Agree0 Disagree0

Shame as well, totally wasted at City. But thats what happens when a club has that much money, they buy players on a whim and bench them as soon as the next one comes along. His wages are going to be a problem for most teams though, that is the issue with yous signing him.
