ssn interview with the owner of Bradford this evening had him stating that a few championship clubs and ourselves have made an enquiry about nakhi wells. with the prospects of us buying this young lad from Hartlepool and the 2 lads from brighton along with Alonso it seems to me that the club are expecting us to get relegated and are building for the championship next season

Nobody wants relegation but if plans aren't put in place all areas covered. with no parachute payments anymore we will lose fletch altidore johnson giacarini etc etc. having said that losing half off them wouldn't b a bad thing. lol

it sickens me to see the plight of the club and the money that has been wasted from previous managers. full allocations taken to away games near 40k at home every game my heart goes out to our fans. then its excuse after excuse from poyet doesn't he realise that he picks the team and as mr makem says coaches them on what though i'm not sure as its definitely not football. I am glad to see he is already preparing for next season bringing in Alonso whos English football experience is championship level along with the 2 lads we are linked with from brighton surely we have some lads in the reserves and youth teams who can match these if not then what is the point of the academy. poyet has one chance to save our season and that is to give the young lads and some reserve players the opportunity to shine if they take us down then the experience gained will stead them well for next season as i'm sure the likes of bardsley brown oshea colback Larsson gardener Vaughan Johnson altidore giaccherini borini ki and fletcher won't be at the club next season in the championship.

Can I just say that recently we have been playing some descent football! And equally in the same measure some absolute dross! And after training all week you would that the team would actually try to play a game of football! And I'm not blaming Gus for the teams problems! They are the same players as three previous managers are testament to! Stop blaming the manager he doesn't Go on the pitch! It's about time this team produced consistently on a regular basis! And they owe it to all these loyal sunderland fans to turn round this season! These are not Gus players he inherited this team now give him support! Disgruntled safc fan!

Well suggy mate in December we seemed to have stopped the rot but as for playing well we got a footballing lesson against an out of sorts spurs who should have won a lot easier than the scoreline. then we went to upton park and I thought we were the better side and could have won but then again we were up against the side with the biggest injury list in the league. Then the Norwich game where we huffed and puffed and on clear cut chances were lucky to get away with a draw. Then everton away where we got that bit of luck for a change this season but to see our team struggle to get out of their own half for 2 thirds of the game against 10 men wasn't very good watching. Then away at Cardiff where we were an embarrassment on live t. v for 83 minutes and got a get out of jail card for xmas. Then yesterday although robbed of a legitimate goal and having large possession of the ball we were second best on clear cut chances against a poor villa side and we could only muster 1 shot on target. now if this is decent football mate I can only see one outcome for the season if we start to play bad. as for poyet like every manager we appoint I would love to see them succeed but i'm sick of hearing the same excuse game after game.

Alreet Gary wasn't having a pop it's! Just the managers get the blame all the time! Apparently under. Gus there's a lot more relaxed atmosphere! Same intensity in training etc! Whilst I agree some games have been absolute schoolboy stuff! There have been phases in the games we look a different team! I just don't want the fans to turn at such a critical stage of the season! And believe me they have the right too! With what we've witnessed over the years! But we will turn them into absolute wrecks if we turn now! We are all human we all make mistakes! It just seems that we are making them week in and week out! I really hope that this team can find it within themselves to play descent football! Something the fans would be proud of and if we have to go down! Let's do it in style and fight till the end!? Then I awake??? Seriously safc you owe the fans big time! Ps will the whole team do extra shooting because ya all need it! Safc sunderland till I die!

Well put suggsy mate. I don't want a team of superstars mate I just want a team that makes me feel proud of them, players who put the shirt on with pride and when they come off the field seem as though they have given 100% for sunderland football club like the majority of fans do in supporting them home and away. I will always get behind the players and whoever is the manager of my beloved club mate.
