I wasnt that fussed about sunderland signing anyone this window as people are over priced and i feel we have a side good enough to push for a safe mid table finish, but just reading the paper there today and Pavleuchenko has had a huge training ground bust up with kevin friend at spurs, i think this may be the ideal opportunity to pick up a top player and probably on the cheap, weve been linked with him for ages also, would hope that the board realise this and pull there finger out and make it happen, this could be the answer to our striker crisis!
