Brown 31, O'shea 31,Bridge 31, some Greek 32, WOW!! Arnt Ba and Cisse gonna have fun. Heskey OR Davies 34 to go alongside another Donkey, Wickham WOW!! Bring on Derby Day SMB

Believable4 Unbelievable6

Another 4 year old deluded geordie, brown is injured for up to 4 weeks, where is your def at then? last I heard a watford def has turned you down.haha SGBS

Agree6 Disagree3

Ye need to keep on ye own page and worry about ye own defence as leaking goals all over the place sess will have a field day against collo amd his clowns

Agree2 Disagree2

So because brown is out for 4 weeks does he reduce in age...
erm the lad turned down wigan..SMB

ALWAYS IN OUR SHADOW

Agree3 Disagree2

Williamson scores own goals in big games perch crap and colochini wont keep carrying your defence... Sess will hav a field day

Agree3 Disagree5

Since wen has 31 been old !!!!

Agree3 Disagree3

Ba and cissie going to have fun, like at acon you mean, they certainly set that competition on fire! only one player from a ne club scored, that was a half fit gyan. you have a few games before the derby to worry about,so dont get ahead of yourselves you srp's.

Agree0 Disagree3

No the lad turned down wigan and yourself

Agree2 Disagree2

Just shows how pathetic geordies are trying to comment on the age of a few defenders, bardsley 26, bramble 29, kilgallon 27, richardson 27, not all over 30 and since when has having a few over 30 players been bad for a team, called experience and brown and o'shea have helped us have a better defensive record than you deluded geordies, the watford defender turned you and wigan down.was on bbc yesterday

Agree3 Disagree3

Didn't turn us down ...

Agree3 Disagree2

We didnt have a bid accepted, he said eh wanted to join us which is why he turned wigan down

Agree5 Disagree2

Old or not our defensive record this season is still better than Newcastles. And that has been with an attacking midfielder ant LB. I have no problem waiting to the summer for a striker because lets face it the teams who spent big on strikers in Jan last year ended up with massive flops!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Eh? Marriappa did not turn us down you spoons.
Ben arfa, cissé and Ba are the ones that will be having a field day on your yesteryears defenders! Better team, better club, better fans, you makems are jealous!

Agree3 Disagree1

Typical geordie,seldom right,but never wrong,haha,one day you'll grow up

Agree2 Disagree2

As usual pardew must have been spewing s**te on sky when he said newcastle made an offer to watford but no mention of what they offered even wigan put a reasonable bid in ye should do ye business in the bargain shop lads

Agree2 Disagree2

Aye like you do your buisness at the bingo..
MR.MANERING

Agree2 Disagree2

So 9m on a striker is bargain shopping is it.

Defoe on his way in helicopter. Snubbed liverpool as he doesn't want to sit on bench

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Heard Hugo Almeida is possibly at the AOL, just a rumour so far

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought it was newcastle who fly players around in helicopters thought they would have learnt their lesson as owen cost them a fortune

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2012 19:17:55

Sunderland are showing great ambition on deadline day as they close in on Emile Heskey.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Your busted stupid

31 Jan 2012 18:17:48
no wonder we didn't go for zamora - £7m [inc add ins] and 90k a week!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Get in martin neil .heskey on his way to the village of the dammed. This would make my day.

Agree1 Disagree0

hey lads toon fan in peace.
one of your old boys micky gray, reckons dempsey has just getting on a train in london to newcastle..

is it to us or yous

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Hopefully to sunderland but don't know if its true or just a false rumour

Agree2 Disagree1

We will not be signing dempsey! either of us! he too old for the toon and too young for safc!

Liverpool fan here ..Hope you get Soto he's a good player and gave his all for us also excellent from set pieces..Good luck for the rest of the season..J4T96

Believable7 Unbelievable2

J4T96 ?? {Ed001's Note - J = Justice 4 = For T = The 96 = The 96 who lost their life at Hillsborough.}

Agree3 Disagree2

Cheers mate nice 2 hear , ditto on the good luck and J4T96

Agree1 Disagree2

Sunderland fans and Liverpool fans..Two small clubs laughable

Agree2 Disagree1

Sunderland and liverpool both bigger clubs than newc9st1e, just don't have the ego's the geordies do

Agree1 Disagree2

Liverpool maybe only cos of their history. Scumberland never. Boro are bigger than Scumberland.

Agree1 Disagree2

Hi folks all three big clubs lets not forget in the early nineties nufc and safc had crowds of 11,000-so lets not pretend our grounds have always been full

Agree0 Disagree0

It gets really sad when a Mag says they are bigger than Liverpool.
Someone in his family should get him some help. The least they should do is limit his Brown Ale till he starts talking sense.

Agree2 Disagree1

Liverpool have always and will always be bigger than newcastle FACT!

Agree2 Disagree1

The comments from the mag with the huge ego, only go to prove the point, why no other fans in the country like nufc, one little bit.

Agree1 Disagree0

Seldom right, but NEVER wrong.......describes perfectly a mag fan

Sam matterface from talksport just revealed Sunderland have signed bridge on loan, whilst he was saying this someone in the back round started laughing. Just like all us Geordies, .

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Class. SMB

Agree6 Disagree3

He was laughing at the news that the once big club newcastle had been out bid by wigan i didn't laugh myself like

Agree3 Disagree0

Don't be upset. I am sure he is really happy he came. LOL

Agree2 Disagree0

Obviously,or why would he sign?

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2012 15:05:41
looks like we getting kyrgiakos ex liverpool flop center half he is rubbish. like the bridge deal though. but i am gutted we probably look like getting heskey im very very disappointed with oniell over heskey rather have bendtner and he is crap

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Wish 11.00pm would arrive to stop the crappy rumors from the SGBs.
The clueless morons havnt got any idea how pathetic they are.
There are plenty of ways to banter between fans, but it is only the thick ones who come out with this sort of crap.

Agree1 Disagree0

You sound like a geordie mate..What have you got so great at your club than you can abuse someone elses...1969 those were the days

Agree1 Disagree1

1969 was a mickey mouse cup ye need to go back to the 50's for happy times at sjp

Agree2 Disagree0

Short has lined up a new sponsor to replace the bingo callers. Stannah stair lifts ltd will now be taking over. Short says with the likes of Bridge and hopefully Davies or Heskey coming in, the lifts and zimmer frames they can provide will come in very handy, not just for them but O'nelly too, to get around the stadium of plight. SMB SMB

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Saddo.

Toon fan here in peace, just wondering if you are actually happy with signing bridge?
He's bad in my opinion. As for Kevin Davies, lol.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Bridge better than perch williamsom and simpson

Agree2 Disagree0

Willo a CB not a full back so no comparison. Bold statement for a bloke who hasn't kicked a ball in 3 years.

Agree5 Disagree1

Have ye been out of the country for 3 years has played for man city in cup and was at loan at whu

Agree1 Disagree1

West ham turned down the chance to buy him cos he was absolute rubbish down there! Was once a cracking LB but remains to be seen if he can get back to that level!

Agree0 Disagree0

Under O'neill I'm sure he will, look at cattermole for example was crap for ages, lost his head most matches, under O'neill he has been brilliant as captain

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2012 09:32:03
wayne bridge.......haha its going to be like dads army at scumberland SMB

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Bridge is only 31 and is a quality left back, scum jealously

Agree6 Disagree3

Its only months since safc had youngest squad in league, short memories, sol cambell, shef kuqi,........ZZZZZ

Agree3 Disagree1

SGB, he's English, England international not to long ago, premier league experience, on loan, good deal MON will get the best out of him. We are not going to spend in this window whats the point over inflated prices,(Cisse) team doing well now, Form team in the league still in the cup. So go boil ya head ya SGB. oh by the way arsenal have bid for BA could he be leaving.

Agree3 Disagree4

Cisse was cheaper now than in the summer....asked 13m in summer got him for 9m so godo business

But wayne bridge was poor on loan at west ham, expect Mon to get a lot more out of him though

Toon Fan

Agree3 Disagree2

Arsenal haven't bid for Ba. So jog on, Bridge is average at best and hasn't been an international for years and when he did make the squad he was a back up. If he was that good he would still be in the City team.

Agree7 Disagree3

Arsenal have bid 7 mil, his release clause, for him he gets 3 as part of the deal when he signed for u SGB

Agree1 Disagree2

Just educate you SMB. Ba's release clause can't be activated until the summer. add to that it only be activated for a club in Europe. So if Arsenal wants him which is ******* they would have to pay more than 7 million. Does it upset you that no one wants your over the hill rejects? SMB.

Agree3 Disagree1

Last time i looked arsenal were in europe

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes Arsenal are in Europe. Read it again! A team can activate the release clause in the summer (end of season) if they are in Europe not now. Do you understand now? Should I check back later and explain it again? SMB.

Agree4 Disagree1

And on top of that they havent bid! And kuqi was only 31 too! 3 words of advice to you! Facts....Right....First

Agree1 Disagree0

I, sympathise,it must be hard being so self righteous

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2012 09:06:08
Wayne Bridge having a medical.... Wow

Believable4 Unbelievable0

31 Jan 2012 08:53:00
Another oldie? We need quality players, not Davies, bridge. We look like fools to the toon!

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Sounds like envious toon fans coming on here and trying to stir it

Agree2 Disagree1

Bridge is a quality player and O'neill will bring the best out of him

Agree1 Disagree0

Bridge was a good player, but when was the last time the lad got a game..
we should stick with what we have.

Agree0 Disagree0

We need bridge, richardson is a weak link at left back

Agree3 Disagree0

Why does everyone have to be a SGB if the differ from your expert opinion? Davies is old and cant get his game and so is bridge.

Agree4 Disagree0

31 Jan 2012 07:56:11
I wasnt that fussed about sunderland signing anyone this window as people are over priced and i feel we have a side good enough to push for a safe mid table finish, but just reading the paper there today and Pavleuchenko has had a huge training ground bust up with kevin friend at spurs, i think this may be the ideal opportunity to pick up a top player and probably on the cheap, weve been linked with him for ages also, would hope that the board realise this and pull there finger out and make it happen, this could be the answer to our striker crisis!

Believable3 Unbelievable0
