Is anyone else worried that if we sell Sess in the summer we are going to be really up against it next season? I can't see us attracting any top players. It pains me to say it but we may need to copy Bewcastle in transfer market.
I don't think so mate, you forget O'neill only got in a couple of loans in the jan transfer window as cover, I think he will make some wise moves in the summer, I'd say elmo, gordon, bramble will be sold maybe a couple of more fringe players aswell possibly meyler being one, O'neill has gave a hands off warning to other premiership clubs after McClean and Sess, we don't need to sell our better players, we did before to balance the books abit for the new fifa rules coming in for 2013. I can see us doing really well next season with the team O'neill will put together, I don't like giving praise to the cartoon up the road but I think they will have another good season next aswell but it's great for the north east having two teams mixing it up in the top half of the table, nice if the smoggies get promoted aswell and then we can have another derby to look forward too aswell
Completely agree, I for 1 am intrigued to see who o'neill brings in as it would be a better derby and a good run in the league I honestly think that you arent too far away from europe as much as it pains me to say, and with hopefully middlesbrough in the premier league, will be great for the north east in general, nufc and safc challenging for europe and boro challenging to survive would be great

I don't count boro a a derby game, just the makems.
