All I can say for today is that pardew is disgusting. He has no class what so ever. Though the result was fairish, we had first half they had second half. Thought mignolet and bardon played well and I thought Ben arfa was really good when he came on. It's nice to see both of the north easts teams up in the top half of the table again. Just hope we can close the gap up now!

I'm sure you have to admit that other than the penalty you guys have 0 highlights from the game, you did look the better team for 35 mins however didn't really do anything

Plus the goal they scored was offside

Yes Cattermoles challenge was reckless,but i cant believe how long it took for tiote to be booked. Cant remember him winning a challenge , when he actually got the ball. Thought we were playing a team that was a croos between the newcastle falcons and stoke. How the hell skunky united are so far up the league is beyond me or sorry (sheer luck).

hey lads, I'm a Newcastle fan coming in peace so that we can have a good old fashioned discussion about the game, so on this thread I would appreciate no SGB or SMB comments or offence towards either team.

Firstly I want to start with your penalty, it was a clear foul by Mike Williamson and the ref made the correct decision. Next the Lee Catermole foul on Tiote at the start of the match should have been a red, however I can see why the ref only gave a yellow as it was 20 seconds into the match, and may have just been too fired up. Newcastle should have had a penalty in the first half, when one of your defenders pushed Ba in the back, and when O'shea (i think it was him atleast) handled the ball infront of Ba's face, second half was all Newcastle Ben Arfa was a game changer and should have started, he made the left side of your defence look average, despite your good defensive record. Sess red card was a correct decision you cannot raise your hands like that, although Tiote made a meal of it. Sunderland were unlucky not to hold on however you defended like hell, and were in all honestly lucky to have shola score, as our finishing was awful. As for Cattermoles second yellow, can someone tell me what happend as I missed it.

Btw, ED what did you think or did you not watch the game? {Ed001's Note - I didn't see it, I just got to the pub in time to see it finish as I hadn't noticed the time.}

Cattermole didnt go in two footed or studs up so no red his sending off was after the match for swearing at the ref arguing that tiote was going in with his elbow every challenge which i think he was and getting away with it could have been sent off twice as could others fair result tiote totally over reacted by the way tho it was a red card for sess poor conduct by pardew also i thought

The whole of Newcastle were disgraceful from the ball boys being ridiculous to pardew showing what a tool he really is with their players diving for the Olympics inbetween

Why are you all saying '' if sausageon hadnt got sent off'' or '' we had 10 men'' at the end of the day, Matty O'nelly played 4-5-1 and when sausageon got sent off 4-4-1. Either way it was a case of trying to beat the defensive,boring tactics. First half we couldnt,second half we did. Shola the mackem slayer strikes again. Now because of their stupidity, sausageon and cattedope are going to miss your beating at everton.

How can geordies brag, they couldn't even beat 10 men, what should we do not defend and let you score loads? geordies saved by ameobi in the 91st minute, did you see the worried geordies before that goal? exactly 2 points dropped for you lot at home for the 2nd week running!SGBS

Not being funny but how on earth is that team 6th in the league. Thought sess was very silly for giving the ref a decision to make.Thought Pardew showed a true lack of class. 1-1 better result for us than them.

Lets look at the facts tho, we have now took 4 points from the un-washed smb, were 10 points ahead in the league and they STILL cant beat us ha jog on mackems see yous next season for some more points cheers

well looks like it still stands, if your a mackem and aged under 40 years, you have seen your side relegated more times than you have seen them beat the toon.

And if your a geordie who is between 50 and 55 then you have seen them win nothing that means major silverware!
