i'm not entirely convinced with our business this window performance against man u I would start Buckley over Johnson, Gomez scored against Birmingham he may be able to repeat this in the league given a chance, Alvarez looks the part and needs a start cattermole every time and the rest best of a bad bunch and of course wickham up front in the middle

I agree, but if you start Gomez in a 4-3-3, who do you sit out of Larsson, Rodwell, and Catts?
I would leave out larson I was thinking of a back four then catts sweeper feeding the two central mid gomez and rodwell with buckley and alveraz playing up and down the wings feeding wickham
It's worth a shot, I suppose. Personally, I'd like to see Giaccherini in there. He has the creativity we've been lacking, and pace, not to mention he works well with Wickham. Just my opinion, of course.
Can't play Coates full back, he's way too slow, you either play him centre back or don't play him
