Here we go again, Sunderland fans claiming that they are a bigger club than Newcastle. What a bunch of deluded idiots. Newcastle have a MUCH bigger fanbase, Bigger ground and probably the best football fans in the country ( This is coming from a Liverpool fan). Newcastle have also averaged much higher finishes than Sunderland since the Premier League began, They have finished in the Top Four Seven times and played Uefa Champions League football. They are a more attractive preposition to anyone with a footballing brain. Yes they have been relegated once from The premier League, But how many times have Sunderland been releagted? Think about it. .

Believable2 Unbelievable3

When did the Sunderland fans go on about been bigger, You are Feckas going on about how big you are, wll the geordies are any hoo, If king Kenny doesn't hit the ground running this season he, ll be on his way out the door
How many years ago was it when the mags were in Europe 199? what did they win? Their arragance bankrupted their club and they are paying the price now. .
They don't even own your own their ground . Safc did go up and down, we bought our new ground sold our old one and ran the buisness as a viable concern. We didn't spend money as fans we were'nt happy with murray but in hindsight he saved the club and sold us on with good financhle govanace. The past is the past, its the now man, its 17 years scince the mags were in europe or ther abouts. thatsa lifetime for some poor fookers

Agree0 Disagree0

If you run the buisness as a viable concern muppet check the sunday times when all premier club released the figures for a year we made 16 million more than you you, s and we still in top 7 most generated revune in europe with 3 rd highest fan base in premiership. wait until you have a person owner who spends nothing keeps all money from players and still supporters are loyal black and white through and through. .instead you lot stay at home go on about how big you, s are and quinn goes on radio saying he his sick at the fans base getting smaller that's why we are bigger our fans just cpme no matter what TRUE SUPPORTERS smb

Agree0 Disagree0

17 years ?? nar mate maybe that's how long it will take you smb's to get there

Agree0 Disagree0

And how many of yous hav got stuck with your season tickets because of the 3 year deal ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally deluded the deal was if you took a 3 year season ticket the price was guarenteed not to go up as every year tickets go up you did not have to take it muppet get your facts right before you spout stuff off. .i notice scumberland sell all there tickets NOT we sold more season tickets alone in the championship than you lot had in the premiership fact. smb

Agree0 Disagree0

We sold more season tickets than SAFC did match day tickets If SAFC got so many fans then why the stadium always empty? Loads of you on here saying how big a supporter you are yet obviously not looking at your crowds. DIG

Agree0 Disagree0

1 year or 3 years make no difference cos a season ticket holder will almost certainly take up the option year after year anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

Not the mags i no theyve give their tickets up and are going on a weekly basis its about time some of yous grew some b- - and let the heirachy how yous feel yous are getting treat like s- -

Agree0 Disagree0

But we still getting 48000 to 49000 at every game that's down by 3 to 4000. u lot are getting 33000 to 38000 down 10000 and our manager is not complaining crowds dropping. and was not awhare you have 52000 mag fans

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't run the club we just follow there is a saying to sum it up. . " wars come and go, but our soldiers stay the same". . . Tupac

ALAN PARDEW has assured fans that the £35m recouped from the sale of Andy Carroll back in January is being channelled into the playing side of Newcastle United.

Fans have posed the question of where the money will be spent throughout the summer so far, with an additional £4m understood to have been picked up for departed skipper Kevin Nolan.

But Pardew said: When you sign somebody like Demba Ba or Sylvain Marveaux there are huge transfer fees involved in that.

This is, unfortunately, how the Premier League works and a lot of money from those deals does not come back through the system.

Ideally, in the old days we d sign somebody from the Championship and the money goes back into the English game.

A lot of money goes out through agents and stuff like that. Pardew whose only cash purchase thus far is Yohan Cabaye indicated that a lot of the Carroll funds have already been spent despite the free transfer deals for Ba and Marveaux.

He added: We have spent a fair amount on these three players in particular more than the fans realise.

I need to mark their card on that.

If you are going to start adding up the money you will be way off the figures.

Mike promised to put that back in the club.

I know what the figure is and what has been spent on the training ground and everything will go back in the club.

We are trying to locate one or two development players that cost more than you think.

I want to say that because Mike and Derek s backing has been very strong so far and I am pleased with it.

The progress we are making is very good and it bodes well.

Pardew also feels that signings made so far will put Newcastle back on the right track.

He said: I said when I came here that we need a strategic plan so that we can compete with the top teams.

As it stands financially at the moment we can t compete with those top teams in terms of trading players.

We can compete on the pitch though.

We need players who want to play for Newcastle and that s why we have targeted the players we have.

bruce and quinn been alerted by erdinc refusing to join newcastle needs club with ambition and think a deal in the region of 8.5mill will get him also he would be on half the wages we would need to pay for defoe
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

"needs club with ambition"

Which rules out Sunderland.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Which most certainly rules out Newcastle

Agree0 Disagree0

Erdinc will never pick scumderland over Newcastle, they are a worldwide brand, Gyans agent announced today that his client MAY NOT be at stadium of s***e this season as a club has an offer in for him so no more of this im going no-where nonsense, neither was Henderson, Heskey and John Stead expected to replace him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who made this up? He staying at PSG cos they now loaded and will bring in alot of players and challenge for honours so he said he wanted to stay and compete for his place You mackems are mad Even your lies are mad

Agree0 Disagree0

Nufc a world brand ? remind me again apart from that cup in the late 60's which was so popular no one knows what the competision was called?
What have you's done? I mean won or is your team a world brand because you lost a leauge once nearly 20 year ago when you had a 10point lead or are you a world brand because teenage kids laught when they watch a blerk called king Kev filmed on you tube before they were born, ranting like an person saying, I would love, it just love it oooo I can't wait for the
"who knows who your lot are? I know mate I could'nt care less its about now we have both won nowt for a long time (Safc were the last team between us both to win the to leauge and that was when Laural and hardy were all the rave at the pictures, and we were the last team between us both to win the the FA cup and Roy wood and wizzard where in the "record" charts world brand? get a grip

Agree0 Disagree0

This guy knows his history ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Name the top class players over the years that came to S O L even after you offered them big money ne one that's who. . weve had shearer, ferndinand.asprilla, ginola.hamann.owen to name a few then theres shay given after one season you lot sand a song called SHAYS GOD and could not afford him all the players your getting your givng way over the value for them and all other teams won't pay it so they come to you lot. .yes the fat cockney seems to be holding on to his money but guess what fifa new rules that come in saying you need not be making a loss every season that's you lot knackered we have no loans just the fat controller so jog on we are s**te you are s**te get over it and come back next may and see how where we both are. .SMB

Agree0 Disagree0

And still won f k all entertainers what a laugh best turn since laurel and hardy

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey it was you lot that was bigging it being a world brand. Your man left himself wide open. The Sunderland lad made it clear his lot had won nowt for years. Mackems are class, understated fellas, the Geordies are full of it well that Geordie was anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

Errr Sunderland are in profit , players sold and players in there is a profit Wages are just over the fifa guide lines for turn over but so are all the other teams, including yours. . the fifa guide lines are just that, guide lines . The day Fifa make it happen is the day
Barcelona, AC Milan , Roma, Madrid, Chelsea, Man u ( the only United) Man City and many others leave Fifa and start a packer style league

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland made a financial loss last year WHY DONT YOU ASK EDD TO CONFIRM IT over the year you had spent more than you had made from revunue that includes by the time you paid spurs the sell on from benty you had about 5 million profit and you had not even paid for him. you will again this season will make a loss cos if you, s get a few bad results some of your fans stay away now be honest i will ashley will not spend big most of us know this but we support a team so we turn up

why would he want to go to st petersburg, they hate black people they throw bananas at them so i think his agent is trying to get him a pay rise( and a nice pay rise for himself)agents create this rubbish its all about the cash.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Yeah just greedy agents

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember what they said A club has already had a bid turned down for him. That could be the russians but doesn't change the fact he unsure and is seeking a metting with quinn to discuss things Agents do make players unrestful but players also involved when it comes to moving Bear this in mind

sunderland should thry to get defoe, cisse or sow

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Sow? lmfao

Agree0 Disagree0

Defoe the only one who would get double figures in the premiership Cisse has had his time and sow is . . . . Who is sow?

Agree0 Disagree0

Moussa Sow he's a french striker for Lille not bad really he scored 25 goals in 36 games and he is 25 years old same as Gyan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol, Sow is a better player than Jermaine overrated Defoe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle did the banana thing with one of there own lawrie cunningham in the 70s still didn't stop black people going there if the offers right and everyone has a price gyan will be gone lads

Agree0 Disagree0

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz boring he will be starting for sunderland all season long give us some better crack mag fans

Agree0 Disagree0

You could pretty much get away with most things in the 70's tho and times have changed since then He won't go to russia but may go elsewhere No smoke without fire

The big man is off to spurs with both Crouch and Defoe coming in the opposite direction.

Apparently - he doesn't like wearing stripes

Moderic is off, they will not be getting rid of any more strikers or leading players to keep the spine , unlike the mags who are losing anyone who is any good in their rabble.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Got rid of nolan cos his contract demands didn't fit the clubs new structure Enrique heading out cos he knows he can get into a bigger better side so can't really blame him and barton is the same issue as nolan so if they replaced well it shouldnt be a problem

Agree0 Disagree0

Gyans agent been spouting off again. A wish agents would p**s off. The lads already publicly said he wants to stay but now his agent is spreading s*** there's no doubt bids will come in and his head will turn. A hope he stays cos he showed some class last season but now think he'll defo be away.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

He is going nowhere The only way we would let him go is if we got MEGA money, well over 20m maybe 25m (why sell him for less, we don't need to) we bought him for 13m We could buy at least two quality players with a fee like that and still have change, this would ONLY happen if bruce had some irons already in the fire.
Bruce almost got his fingers burned after the Bent sale with the injuries that followed, he will have learned he must have a plan B.
LOL The mags probably kept Bruce in a job when they drew with WBA on the last day. I think this season or the next is when will see the making of Bruce the manager
Last season, Spurs have punched above their weight, Stoke maybe too, Villa look like they are in turmoil, I can see them just above the bottom three next season.
Nufc will be lower than mid table, I don't think they will go down though, their team is not as strong as last season.
Arsenal could struggle this year and if liverpool don't get off to a good start then the pressure will be on for them and King Kenny.
The forth place is a up for grabs this season gentleman, on paper anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

How is newcastle team not as strong as last season? sold carroll yes but managed without the crock. n nolan managed 3 goals since carroll left so he won't be as big a miss as people think. plus there is 7 weeks r so left in the transfer window. i personally think both newcastle and sunderland wil have good seasons and would love to see both teams fightin it out for europe

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree that both teams will almost certainly be in and around the same position in the table but pushing for europe i can't see. Bigger stronger teams out there who will be in front of both Think NUFC do look stronger than last year and will be ok when a new striker is brought in to play with Ba

Agree0 Disagree0

Christ, who cares if he said he's staying? Are you living in a different world where players who say "I'm not leaving this club, I'm staying, 100%" actually mean it?

Money talks and if the right offer comes in, every man has his price. Any player who says otherwise is a liar. The ones who people think mean it are either on big money, at a successful club, or nobody else wants them.

Agree0 Disagree0

You mags are so funny, last season Nolan was your hero, you couldn't stop talking about how great he was, same with Barton, come to think of it same with Carroll, THEN shock, horror when they leave or want to leave or talk with any kind of honesty of how they were treated, they become crap, useless or you just talk crap about them, have the strength of your convictions and stop making yourself look like spineless fools. Bent was ace for us, I was devastated when he left, but apart from last few weeks of his stay at Sunderland he was a class act and the side missed him when he left. SEE that is honesty want to try it some time.

The Gyan rumour thing is just that, a rumour started by his crooked agent to manipulate more cash for himself, have it on decent authority (a Ghanaian friend who speaks to Gyan) that he is going nowhere, the crisis talks are more about why his agent spilled this story, Gyan himself is happy here, although the rumours that he was unhappy after his two Ghanaian friends were not signed is true, but this was sorted with Bruce weeks ago. It's just another case of greedy agents trying to upset players so they can squeeze more money out of them.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Then why is Gyan himself seeking talks with Bruce about his future May have had his head turned Plus agents are a scourge but plyers help drive the agents movements by asking them to get better deals and moves Natural progression states a player will always want to play for bigger better teams Like Enrique does

Agree0 Disagree0

The sun says the sun says so it must be true and old song by cock sparrow which states that everything that paper says is a load of s**te along with its sister paper the news of the world theres never been a paper told as much s**t gyan going knowhere unless offer over 20 mill.

Agree0 Disagree0

And his agent says on sky sports. . . fob that one off

Agree0 Disagree0

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -As already stated in my post. The talks are a out this rumour getting out and to ask Gyan why his agent seems to have so much say in any type of transfer, Gyan would NOT have stop up and declared his desire to stay backed up by a very unusual step of the chairman saying the same thing. Remember guys half these rumours are used to unsettle players club's. So understand GYAN IS NOT LEAVING 100% fact So ignore it and try to find our next group combing in. O'shea especially with Irish background with Quinn is a deal almost done - -fri? Wes is possible but I hope it fails, Gibson is stalling so work to do there. Keep the faith guys SAFC

A nice article on the sun website regarding Gyan's future with his agent refusing to say if he'll be staying at Sunderland or not and there is one offer on the table.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

The offer would have to be in the region of 20m or more, he has only been in the prem for a short whille and in a SAFC team ravaged with injury he was still producing the goods this season with a fitter and stronger team when we know he's going to be on fire why would we let him go? he cost us 13m (? I believe) and has a 3 years(?) contract. let him go for 20m + if there are more irons in the fire it would make good business but only if there were one or two replacements and a profit in it for us then why not? Bruce has learned his lesson though, he would have to have a plan B if he was sold, we were so unluck with the injuries after Bent had gone.
